Just tuned into the horror that was Loverboy, Flock of Seagulls, CC Peniston, and particularly Tiffany.

What's Arrested Development doing on there - are they considered "faded" already?

I was actually happy to see CeCe Peniston again. And can that girl sinngg!! I also enjoyed Arrested Develpment's performance. It took me back to a time when people actually tried to be original in hip-hop. I know, I'm showing the rings in my trunk now.

Loverboy's performance was just...traumatic for me. I never really thought Mike Reno was all that hot when I was a teenager, but he...just...the dude was just...well, last night was just not right. I have no words. heh.

Although, I'll admit to loving the show until the cover portion started. It went downhill pretty fast after that. Maybe I'll just watch the first half of the show and tune out the rest next time.

Oy vey. Craptastic. Flock of Seagulls recently played my town, and I was going to go. I'm really glad I didn't. I figured lead singer guy and his wife would be like Noonie and Noonie from SNL, but instead....yikes!
Tragic!

I'm hoping for better from Irene Cara.

I, unfortunately, went to see Return of the Sith for the THIRD time and didn't get to see this show. What is the setup? HOw does it work?

Well from the previews you are lead to believe that the bands compete and the winner gets some kind of career boost out of it.

But in fact, the former musical sensations come out and do their hit. Then they come out and do a cover of a popular song. Then the audience votes and the winning act gets money for the charity of their choice.

Granted it's publicity, but based on Loverboy and Flock of Seagulls performances I would be shocked if either actually had a career resurgence due to the show. Especially FOS, it was like bad karaoke.

And if Tiffany isn't currently pregnant, maybe she just had a baby, something was definitely going on.
