I don't care what it meant - life goes on, or it's the end of Tony. It was a crappy ending. But I liked the cat - I think it was Adrianna back from the dead.

What a shitty shitty ending to a overall shitty ass cop out season. I am so annoyed by the time I invested in this show. Was the guy at the counter an FBI agent or a bodyguard or someone out to hit Tony? What about the scary ghetto thugs? GAH.
The whole time my husband kept saying "They are leaving it wide open for a movie"
He's gloating now dancing around singing "It's all about the money. You can say it isn't but it is".

ximena, that makes a lot of sense.
My heart was literally pounding during that last scene.
A lot of people are going to hate this ending, but I kind of liked it. So much of this show is open to interpretation, and it's fitting that the ending is a bit ambiguous as well. I don't think anyone could have predicted it.

Yeah, I'm convinced that he was shot right after that. Esp since Phil himself was killed right in front of his family.

Don't try to navigate the crazy at TWOP about this. Basically if you disliked the ending you are branded an ignorant illiterate inbred who doesn't have the slightest appreciation of art.

Now that I have had some time to reflect on that final show, I really think what we were seeing was the final day of Tony's life.

ETA: Soemone at TWOP said the guy with the hat in the diner was the owner of the Sporting Good shop that Tony bled dry.

What annoys me is that is all it is- a theory. It's a tv series finale so viewers expect a little bit of closure for the time they've invested into a series without having to wait and see if they cash in with a movie in six months time. It just feels like a huge rip off and it's sort of like a f-you to the audience.
