Dancing With the Stars

I thought I had posted in this thread around the finale last season, but I guess not. (They should really cancel the show now or take a long break, so maybe they can get more actual stars on the show.)

Cast List for Season 20:

-Mark Ballas will dance with Willow Shields

-Kym Johnson will dance with Robert Herjavic

-Val Chmerkovskiy will dance with Rumer Willis

-Sharna Burgess will dance with Noah Galloway

-Keo Motsepe will dance with Charlotte McKinney

-Artem Chigvintsey will dance with Patti LaBelle

-Tony Dovolani will dance with Suzanne Somers

-Allison Holker will dance with Riker Lynch

-Peta Murgatroyd will dance with Michael Sam

-Emma Slater will dance with Red Foo

-Witney Carson will dance with Chris Soules

-Derek Hough will dance with Nastia Liukin

Random Thoughts:
-I would say that Ms. Patti LaBelle to me is the only true star in this whole cast. I really hope she wins, but I'm guessing she'll finish around 3rd place.

-I guess maybe Suzanne Sommers and Robert Herjavic because of Shark Tank being a successful show could also be "stars".

-I should have known Derek wouldn't be able to stay away. I admit that he's talented, but I really was looking forward to him taking a break. Plus, the ringer complaints are already happening.

-I'm guessing Keo will be first out again because I have no idea who Charlotte McKinney is and unless she really wows during her first dance, she's going to be the most expendable.

It's ridiculous that they paired Derek with Nastia Liukin. They're going to be the ones to beat, and yet they'll try to feed everyone a line as though it doesn't come easily to her. The show needs to give him a senior citizen who was never a dancer some time and see what he can really do.

I can’t wait to see a 14 year old do a rumba. Poor Mark, I don’t know why this show always treats him like he doesn’t have a penis.

I understand why Derek wants to stay on the show (I basically think all of the pro dancers who leave the show are fools because this is the best gig they will ever get) but he made an explicit announcement that he was NOT going to be on the show this season – adios, so long, done deal.

Interesting to note, Val and his last season partner Janel no longer get along. She thought his showmancing was real, dumped her boyfriend mid-way through the season, and then got a rude awakening as soon as the season was over. She’s been sniping at Val over twitter ever since. Rumer Willis is one of her good friends, and is even better friends with the boyfriend she dumped (whom she is now back together with). So this should be a fun season for Val.

Noah Galloway is an Alabama native and spoke here last year and I must say, he is quite the looker.

My daughter watches Austin and Ally, which has Ryker Lynch's brother on it -- they both have the worst hair that I have ever seen on a teen heartthrob. And I grew up in the late eighties.
