Those results last night really surprised me, I thought for sure the model was toast. I think the voter demographic skews pretty heavily toward women and with her boobs/legs appearing to be her main assets, I didn't think that would work for her. Plus, she can't dance, her personality grates a bit, her partner isn't one of the more famous pros (and she's not that famous herself), I really can't believe she made it through.
Once it was down to Suzanne Somers and Redfoo, I thought for sure SS was gone. Pretty sure Tony thought so too, he looked stunned when it wasn't them.
I haven't watched the show in several seasons, but the judging seems way off so far. I'm not sure if they are always this lenient early on, but some of those scores last night baffled me. Patti LaBelle kind of shimmied in place while a troupe of dancers danced AROUND her and the judges were allegedly blown away and moved to give her 8s. WTF?
It would have been a cute routine for an awards show performance or something, but not so much as a dance competition routine...unless we can vote for the back-up dancers.

IIRC, Tom said the two left weren't necessarily the lowest two votegetters. It's a pretty routine reality show maneuver. My guess is that Suzanne was in the middle of the pack in terms of votes, and maybe they want people to vote a little harder for her going forward, but not the second-least popular dancer there (I think it probably was Charlotte).

I was shocked Charlotte wasn't eliminated.
But in terms of Suzanne, I can see the mostly-women mostly-middle-aged voters liking Suzanne from her Three's Company Days and throwing her some votes just for being a senior citizen trying to dance.
I can see DWTS viewers not feeling any connection to a goofy guy they've never heard of (except when he judged a couple of seasons ago) with the big hair. From people who watch the live rehearsals I heard that Redfoo was taking rehearsals very seriously and was trying very hard, whereas Charlotte was a huge complainer.

Senior citizen or not, Suzanne looks a lot better than many women half her age.

If Susanne doesn't bust out a thighmaster for a dance I'll be disappointed.

There is a loooooot of internet hate for the LMFAO crew. I wouldn't be surprised that did him in. He dances fine in his music videos...

What did LMFAO do? All I know about them is that their song was used in the dancing hamsters car commercial.

I think people hate their music and see them as douche bags. Their videos usually have skeezy people like Wilmer Vadlerrama partying it up in strip clubs and shit. They also received criticism for a song/video where a group of men shout "STFU" at women who spurn their advances in clubs...
