I beginning to like HK. His other BBC shows are much better and not so confrontational.
Anyone ever get to eat at any of his restaurants?

I'm lovin' the Ramsay.
My tribute to Wired Magazine: Wired: Gordon Ramsay Tired: Donald Trump Expired: Simon Cowell
But out of the three, he's really the only one I like. Reason? It's because he doesn't feel he has to sell his product to the masses. Just to adults of more discerning taste who really ARE concerned with quality, not sparkly packaging.
Not that I'd ever eat at one of his restaurants (too classy for me). Nor do I necessarily really believe that this show really makes any sense (getting pissed at a bunch of people who, the majority of which, never worked in a restaurant).
I just think that he's cool. I like the fact that he knows what he wants out of his people and isn't afraid to demand it.

You should check his BBC show out. It much better. He goes to bad restaurants throughtout England and tries to make them better. It is on tonight on BBC America at 9pm Central.

I love well prepared food. I am kind of a food snob, (which is not a good thing to be in a small town, I HATE eating out here) and I hold "high end" restaurants to high standards. So I LOVE this show! I don't even care abput who is there and whether they get booted or not, I just want to know if they produced a wonderful, original recipe. ;D Yay for Hell's Kitchen. Of course, I would rather spend $300 on a great dinner than a pair of shoes, so, you know, my friends think I'm "eccentric". LOL. And no, I'm NOT fat, I just enjoy my gourmet cuisine.

I like how he treats his profession as serious. Serious....serious profession.

I would never eat at Ramsay's kitchen for the simple fact that he cooks pigeons. I detest those birds. They stink and are like flying rats. The contestants verifying that the birds stink, only makes me sure that my opinion of the rats were not wrong.

Now that's odd, because it's not actually made by the BBC, it's a Channel 4 program. So BBC America shows non-BBC programs?

Chenoeh, it seems so. They show a lot of British TV shows - period. Yesterday they had a Fawlty Towers marathon *squee*.
But I do prefer the BBC-America Ramsey show as he's not as gruff and rude and - as someone who previously worked management in a restaurant - its actually very interesting to see the recommendations, suggestions and techniques of a world class chef. Pigeons or not I would definitely love to eat at one of his restaurants. And hey, even though he isn't my type, I gotta admit he has a strange type of sex appeal.
Could you imagine a reality show where Ramsey and Rocco deSpirito square off? Heh! Ramsey would kick his ass straight off the bat.
