So Nicole Wallace was the Sarah Paulson character in Game Change, the HBO movie about John McCain and Sarah Palin?

Yep, and she has been one of the conservative voices on Morning Joe in recent years. I saw her on the Bill Maher show and finally got why her nickname at TWOP was Chuckles. She giggled and giggled and giggled. Bill kept giving her the side-eye like he was thinking "does she wanna fuck me or what?" She's no Hasselbeck when it comes to arguing about issues, especially social issues (Nicole supports gay marriage), which is kind of disappointing. I want to see grown women point fingers and fight with each other dammit!!

Nicolle Wallace has been a royal bitch on Morning Joe. She just sits and smugly laughs and laughs - then goes off the deep end and starts in on the conservative talking points. I'm not feeling very positive about her. And I don't get what this lineup is anyway. Three liberal actresses and a conservative pundit? And that whole mixing of generations and occupations is out the window. I love Rosie, so I'm sure I'll be watching, but she has (again) only a one year contract, and I expect her to implode and barely make it through the year again. Ahh, I miss the Star days. We will laugh again, but we'll never be young again.

I think it has possibilities, actually.
Whoopi and Rosie O'Donnell are going to rumble eventually and Nicole Wallace seems like she'll be more "game" where Elisabeth Hasselbeck was just unbearable, which is a huge improvement. Surprisingly, I'm most interested in hearing more from Rosie Perez considering her career and the list of big names she's worked with. It's definitely a rebuilding stage but they have a decent foundation. They also need a younger panelist but after the Sherri Shepherd/Jenny McCarthy debacle, I'm all for them taking their time and not rushing anyone else onto the show.

I'm actually enjoying it, and I haven't watched since Joy left. Sherri and Elisabeth were the very definition of SUCK, and Jenny wasn't much better. Boy did they screw that up.
Whoopi is being too domineering right now, but hopefully she'll go back to her pre-show toking and calm the F down. Nicolle doesn't seem to rely on the bible to make decisions, and appears to laugh most everything off anyway. And the two Ros are delightful. Surprisingly so since Rosie P's voice usually bugs like crazy.
The tribute to Robin Williams broke my heart. I wish we could always have that Whoopi and not this defender of all people famous - including violent football players.
All in all, I think they've got something here. Just hoping that Rosie O learned a few lessons on how to let tv fights slide. There's more to worry about in life - don't carry around fights on-air and pout about them until you quit, please!

I agree it's been so much better. Although I can't stand Whoopi. She defended the football player, a father who shamed his 4 year old son, and a father who made his 15 year old son play a drinking game until he passed out and had to go to the er. She defended this father! The only time I liked her this week was during the Robin Williams tribute. She seemed very real and still hearbroken.

If Whoopi is the weakest link on the panel, that's a massive improvement. And maybe she'll shape up, or they'll replace her. I wonder if my good friend will go back to watching The View now. He used to call me up, outraged about whatever was happening.

Hehe. You think so, Mrs.? I watched 3 out of the 5 new eps and I haven't noticed any animosity just yet, BUT I will be 0% surprised if/when it happens. God knows Rosie likes to run the show. I have to think not being the "moderator" is eating her or will eat her up inside.
