Awwwwww! Those are so cute! *melts a gazillion times* BTW, I am so jealous of that Ursula chick. But then, I know someone who's going to the BG Con or whatever this month and James Callis will be there. And I've requested a detailed report. ;D

I just wonder whose idea it was to have Chief recreate Mario Savio's Sproul Plaza speech. Awesome! ALMOST makes up for Oh my god they killed Billy! YOU BASTARDS!

So the DVDs of S2.5 are out! YAY!
Cough, cough, CasinoBride, we're waiting for your thoughts....
Yeah, I still am not over that, Binky.
Seriously, *where* are my DVDs? Stupid pre-ordering rather than instant, in-store gratification. *grumble*
ETA: Just picked them up from the UPS store because, well, why not?
Plus, it's no towel, but there's a scene where Lee looks very, uh, "bouncey" in his sweats.
Is it wrong to have a wee crush on Chief? Because if so, I don't want to be right.
Ohhh - an Octangular playing card! Nifty. I got Baltar.

Cough, cough, CasinoBride, we're waiting for your thoughts.... Hee, Hunter! Thanks for thinking of me! I wasn't able to get my set until today – so now I'm as excited as a kid at Xmas! *jumps up and down* [whisper] I'm even skipping class tonight so I can start watching. Don't tell anyone! [/whisper] So far, "counting the Cylons" (on the disks) has made me giggle, for some reason. Cool - I got Starbuck!

I'm pretty sure it's wrong NOT to have a crush on chief. Everyone's checking out the webisodes on Scifi.com, right? New ones every Tuesday and Thursday that detail what the Resistance is up to. (Look to the right on the Scifi page. They're only about 90 seconds, but anything will do when you're Jonesing, and apparently they're not going to be shown on TV before the new season.)

Oh gosh - I'm all teary right now! I just finished "Resurrection Ship - Part 2". And that Laura and Bill kiss? Awwwww!!! I don't want her to die, dammit! They're so adorable! I'm so glad my BF Helo is OK. As well as Lee. And I'm starting to like Baltar. As for Chief: of course it's OK to have a crush on him! He's a total sweetheart!

Guess I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the day.
I cannot wait for the premiere. itunes better keep hooking me up.
And can I just say I felt so gratified a couple of weeks ago when my husband and I were at a happy hour and we were talking to another Galactica fan. I told her we'd have her over for viewings once we get the episodes downloaded. This one guy started rolling his eyes until two other people piped up and said "Oh, I really want to see that. Newsweek says it's the best show on television." Take that, jerkface.

Well, I feel a little better about Billy's death now. I looked the actor up on IMDB, and apparently he left the show after the first season, thinking he was going to be on another series. That fell through, and he returned to BG, but held off on signing a long-term contract. The producers didn't appreciate not knowing if they could count on him, so they wrote him out. So that's that. When I first saw that episode, after the credits I said, "Well, I hope his car's paid for!" Because that happens sometimes: actor pulls in to the studio lot in his new ride and is met with, "Uh, yeah. Why'n't you come into my office; we gotta talk." But knowing this, I now say he can live with his own choices, and this was probably a bad choice. There are just as many actors who don't realize or won't admit that being on a show which promises to run many seasons is their best option. It's not being locked in; it's their security. If he ends up in something else, I'll probably check it out, but I'll do so knowing that he did not get robbed of BG, as I originally thought.

Will the webisodes still be available after the premiere? Because I have/want to save myself until then.
My best friend is a half season behind and it's killing me not being able to talk about what happened. Thankfully I have the DVDs now and can give them to her to catch up.
Awesome. We're like little promotional bunnies for it as well - "you guys, it's so good. No, it's not really sci-fi at all. It's a military/political drama. No, trust us, it's so good." I wonder if NBC is gonna take out full-page ads singing its praises.

I'm guessing SciFi will leave them up for awhile. They're archiving them as they go. But, since they chronicle the time between last season and the beginning of the new one, I don't really see why you'd wait. They're not spoilers. They're giving information about the Resistance that I think they assume you'll know when the season begins.
They're very Tigh/Chief centered.
