His scenes in series one completely threatened my marriage. It's been ages since I've last lusted at the TV like that, I embarrass myself.

Seriously, I can't go a block in LA without seeing yet another Rome poster. (Atia is a Tramp, Mark Antony is a Coward, etc). Plus, blog ads are *everywhere.*

I thought this upcoming season was going to be its last, so it's weird that they are promoting it so much. Maybe they're hoping for a ton of people to buy the DVDs for the holidays and then have great ratings. God, I hate HBO for throwing tons of money at Dane Cook and Entourage while canceling Deadwood and this.

Darnit! I don't get HBO! This is actually something I'd buy on itunes, does itunes have it? I love this show so much.

HBO doesn't have a deal with Itunes because presumably, if you could get it there, you wouldn't need to pay for HBO. They unforunately take *forever* to release their DVD sets but when they do, they're generally pretty awesome.

My friend doesn't have cable but she makes sure I never cancel my HBO subscription. It's cute, I burn DVDs from my TiVo and then we watch them together. We waited on watching this for a while but then had a big party and watched like 4 episodes at once and were hooked.

Good point. I'm so slow. When Niobe died my heart just about broke, the actress is one of my favorites and I really liked her and Luciius' relationship.

Well, I know what I'm buying myself for Christmas. Can you wear out DVDs from overuse? I predict a lot of stopping and repeating--naked Antony (woof!), Titus Pullo talikng about attending to the button, Titus Pullo, Titus Pullo, Titus Pullo..........I'm sorry, I lost my train of thought there.

Cupcake - I keep seeing Indira in ads for 3 lbs and have a moment where I'm all "hey, shouldn't she be on Rome" and then remember her death and get sad for a bit.

The nice thing is that despite Oxynia's claims of ownership, I'm sure Pullo himself wouldn't mind sharing himself with all of us. He's so generous that way. I nominate Ray Stevenson for a Bond villain next outing. Preferably one who has to wrassle with Daniel Craig so that the screen explodes with masculinity and pretty eyes and...damn, now I've lost my train of thought.

Ah, true...I was so blinded by my lust that I forgot my manners. And Christmas is coming, 'tis the season for sharing so OK, Pullo for everyone! ;D

Does anyone know when the season starts? All I've heard is "January" but it better be early January!
