Yes, as of last night. Although, apparently he's back to regular Dean now.

OMG, is this show still on? I remember when a co worker got me into this show, in 2005. I stopped watching because I kept forgetting when it came on. Surprised the show's still breathing. Aren't Jensen and Jared like forty now?

It's still here. Yes, Jensen admits to turning 40, personally, I think he looks at least 45, while Jared is allegedly 36.
How it's managed to stay on the air all these years, I'll never know. I thought crossroads deals only lasted ten years, not 14.

I thought crossroads deals only lasted ten years, not 14. I believe it. Their yearbooks are all over the place online. Jensen graduated the same year I did. Neither of them have aged very well in the past, I dunno, five years. (Which is kind of nice to see since men generally age better. Ha.) As of last season, it was The CW's third best rated show (Behind The Flash and Black Lightning, apparently. I wonder if Riverdale has eclipsed them all, now.), which, even as someone that used to really love the show, is completely NUTS to me after all this time. I'm curious as to how it will all end, though. I get so far behind that I think I only watched the first two episodes this season. Oops.

So far this season, I've derived far more pleasure from the wails of anguish of the deannuts on Previously TV than I have from the show itself.
The Deannuts are especially outraged that the new hunters call Sam 'Chief' for some reason that probably sounds logical to them, but leaves everyone else scratching their heads.

Dear lord, it's been renewed for Season 15! What does Jensen's agent have on the head of the CW?

Is this still going on? Man the Deannutties over at PreviouslyTV are still going at it, all these years later? I cant with this craziness that poor ole Jensen Ackles, millionaire a few times over is being victimized on the show. Jensen is the second coming of Brando, Olivier, de Niro, etc all rolled into one. Poor Jensen who is fifth banana on this horrible show. Poor Jensen who is so talented and good and kind and pure and decent that he reluctantly cashes a big paycheck but you know he's just hurting on the inside because the SPN showrunners hate him. They're trying to write him off. How dare Jared be the lead? Poor lil tink tink Jensen. I imagine he was kidnapped and held at gunpoint to sign up for SEASON FIFTEEN. I dont get how people are still doing this. It's been years man. If you're still getting so emotional over your perceived treatment of a fictional character... yikes. "Yes this would be the exact thing Dabb would do in his disdain for Dean. They love to set Dean up to fail."
"Both Jared and Sera Gamble gleefully both had to make statements that Sam had it so much worse."
"Dabb has demonstrated a clear disdain for Dean and he loves SuperSam."
"Dean started mentioning his father sending him about and yet again Sam made it about himself. Memememememe, Sam's like a damn opera singer."
"It's such a double standard and so cruel it makes me want to cry really!"
"Actually no, not when they impinge on the character's role in the show, which they do. They take from Dean, his strengths, his traits and try to give them other people(almost always unsuccessfully) and then leave Dean with nothing in return(or lameness in return). Right down to trying to copy or re-create HIS iconic scenes with other characters multiple times through the years. And besides which no I don't think Sam is a leader, he doesn't come across as one, he can give all the orders he wants and people can call him Chief, but IMO he doesn't come across as a leader, that's something you either have or you don't and IMO he "don't". It IMO comes across as something a writer wrote, not as a natural organic part of the character."

That is hilarious! Yes, poor, poor widdle Deanikins. Sure, he gets the lion's share of the screentime, storylines, heroic kills, is everybody's favorite, plus he doesn't actually exist, but he's just a poor, woobie martyr, endlessly villified by the show's writers. And let's not forget poor Jensen Ackles, forced to labor six months of the year for a mere 4 million bucks salary, plus convention fees. Oh the humanity!
Even funnier are the destiellers who are convinced that this is the year their ship becomes canon.
Anyway, I only stuck with it to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan return. Now I'm done.
