Can you imagine what I was thinking when Duran Duran doofus announced he was singing Duran Duran? I was like, who is gonna be more upset---the rocker boys, or Dwan? Hee. "I dropped the guitars to D man, And I am gonna prove Duran Duran can rock." Bwahhhhhhhhhhh!

But yeah, still better than the idiots he competed against last night. But Singing Duran Duran for the likes of Tommy Lee, Jason Newstead and Gilby Clark. Christ they don't do Duran Duran on American Idol..clearly Simon Le Rock Rock did not want to be on the show anymore.

Next week: Billy Idol guy does a little ROCKED UP PET SHOP BOYS! Can't wait.

He definately has that fetal alcohol thing going on. He also seems like a real dick and I say this as a JD lover. I am so not impressed with him and thought he sounded like a horny cat doing Rebel Yell.

Despite the massive suckitude of the "rockers" that house band is one of the best things on television right now. Far better than whatever this Supernova band will cook up.

And IMHO, "Supernova" is something a bunch of high school freshmen name their little afterschool band, not something a bunch of alleged professionals with alleged bad-boy images would name themselves.

TOTALLY. It's something one would see scribbled on a 12-year old's notebook cover as something they daydreamed in math class as the name of the most awesome, coolest band in the whole, wide world. I hate me some Baz, but I'll give the man credit for coming up with the somewhat more clever "Damnocracy" as the name of his fake TV band on "Supergroup."

Everytime I hear the name "Supernova" I think of the fake rock group in the Disney movie Zenon. It's totally wrong.

Tommy Lee is a 44-year-old father of two. I can't wrap my brain around that. He's 44 years old. He has two kids. He's like the world's oldest living fourteen-year-old. He's supposed to be some badass who can drink bikers under tables, but he totally comes off as a goofy teenager. I can't decide if I like him because he's odd and has a sense of humor, or if I don't like him because he's going to be fourteen for the rest of his life.

He was on Reality Remix and he said the song was pre-picked before he even sung his first song of the season. So, he didn't have a choice but to sing from the slim pickings that was offerred before the show aired.

That's interesting. I assumed when that if they were in the final three, they could pick any song they wanted. Even if the choices were limited, I would have picked anything other than Duran Duran.
