Socha was just arrested for racially aggravated assault and as much as I believe in innocent till proven guilty, it has mitigated my love for her. A lot. On a happier note, I do actually like Rudy. He's just so pathetic. But, I'm only up to through the fifth episode, so I reserve the right to change my mind. All of this. Very disappointed, but not surprised by Lauren's behavior. She seems a bit rough around the edges. My faves are the Fabulous Three of Nathan, Antonia, and Iwan anyway. I love Rudy. I can't help it. He is so pathetic and dumb and when he says outrageous or hurtful things it's not intentional, like so many of Nathan's actions were. Nathan was mean to be mean. He was hurtful to be hurtful. I've recently learned that the writers didn't know where to go with Simon/Alisha which dictated their actions in the finale. They backed themselves into a corner, so they ended it. Ugh. |

Sigh. What disappointing news about Socha. I've been unable to find much of any details about the alleged assault online.

I laughed myself silly with Graham Norton's guests last week, especially Patrick Stewart. Who knew he's a big Beavis & Butthead fan?! And apparently, so is Liam Neeson.  |

So I set The Fades for recording and watched the first 2 episodes last night. The first show had me really confused with the kid who seems to be special in some way and creatures attacking him for some reason and a creepy older guy hanging around for some reason and some teacher guy who has a woman following him around all the time, including watching him boink another woman, and I was really wishing they had provided a little bit of a backstory . . . then I checked and I had set it up to start recording with Episode 2. Duh!!!

Yep, totally. Seriously, an eight-minute rant full of racist slurs and threats? WTF?
I'm glad nobody can accuse that judge of being celeb-friendly and just letting something like this slide by.

I hadn't heard about her, or the attack, but I hope her victim is able to recover from the attack. Apparently she is the sister of Michael Socha who plays a werewolf on Being Human.
I read the link above, and they have a sidebar headline about "Welsh Holiday Makers Drunkenly Steal Penguin From Marine Park". So I had to read that story to make sure the penguin is ok. The 7 year old fairy penguin, Dirk, is fine and was reunited with his mate, Peaches. The drunk Welsh holiday makers are sorry for stealing him.

Glad she was punished. Not surprised she was let go. I am surprised they are trying to snow people into believing the two events aren't connected. Lauren may have won a BAFTA (undeserved for last year, IMO), but she wasn't being cast in other shows. She does not have range.

I'm on the second season of An Idiot Abroad. What an amazing, hilarious show. I love seeing these places through Karl's eyes. I think the Alaska episode was my favorite so far. I was writhing with jealousy the entire time.
