Ha, I totally forgot to watch the final episode of this show. I really didn't find it too entertaining after the first few weeks, and I completely forgot about it during the Olympics.
Does anyone know if Lloyd and Isabelle Brasseur are still skating together in any ice shows anywhere? I really haven't paid any attention to them in quite a while.
Early on I was hoping this show would somehow increase the popularity of figure skating so some companies will be willing to produce some professional competitions again, but I don't think this show will necessarily have any such effect.

Don't know anything about Lloyd and Isabelle, but I think your instinct about this show doing absolutely nothing for the popularity of skating is correct. Now that I think back on it, having the finale after the Olympics was a mistake, as more than one person has complained of losing interest, especially after comparing the quality of Olympic skating to this cheesefest. |

Apparently, Lloyd Eisler and Kristy Swanson are expecting a baby. Awwww, isn't that special?
According to the press release, he has two other children - aged 8 months and 2 years. What a jerk. Why can't celebs use birth control?

Why can't celebs use birth control? He isn't a celebrity. He's a figure skater, and most male figure skaters don't have to worry about birth control...  A few newspapers have been comparing Lloyd to KFed. I hope to God that if they do a second season of this show, they choose Naomi Lang because she doesn't know good birth control either. |

GOD Naomi Lang. Her getting knocked up was the worst timing EVER. And took hot Peter Tscherneshyev off my tv, which still pisses me off.

I didn't watch any of SWC but Lloyd's always creeped me out so none of this really surprises me. I wasn't a big fan of his skating with Isabelle either although you've got to give them credit for having the big tricks.
Isabelle has an unusual heart condition and I think that's why she's retired from skating (plus she has at least one kid and possibly two, so...).
