They've cancelled it? What sort of ratings was it getting? I guess it wasn't get good enough ratings. The CBS Jericho website ( LINK) has a forum with a letter of regret from the executive producer. Jericho Lives site. CBS will probably replace it with CSI: Nuclear Apocolypse.

Some possible good news on the nuts campaign. Michael Ausiello is reporting that CBS may announce today that Jericho will come back for 8 episodes as a mid-season show. They are in talks now with the cast. It may be officially announced today.

Can they bring Mayor Dad back to life? Cause Gerald McRaney was one of the best things on that show. (sob!)

Hope Springs EternalI hope they do bring it back. The producers corrected the problems of the first half and the show was pulling in better numbers at the end. It deserves a second chance.

It's official. On the CBS website it was announced that Jericho will be back for 7 episodes at sometime in the mid-season. They plan on rebroadcasting the show this summer, making episodes available online, and having the first season on dvd in September. If they can get viewership numbers up there is a good possibility that the show will go beyond those 7 episodes.

It was really sad when he died. I read somewhere that he wanted to be killed off. It didn't say why he wanted out. I'm hoping that it isn't a recurrence of his cancer.

Cancelled again.I'm not surprised - we didn't watch until about 2 months ago when we rented the first season. And really, the writers' strike forced us into that with nothing new on TV! It's not the best show I've ever seen, but I thought the idea was complex and interesting, which is pretty rare on TV these days.
