They made it sound like she put her foot down and demanded that Dr. Rey spend more time with the family, but at the very end of the show he got a fax from his dad and talked about going to see him again. I'm not sure what to think of any of it since I figure a lot of the show is staged.

She actually stood up to her husband. He is ,now, at home more and spending more time with the family. She also threatened to leave him and go to Canada, if he went to Brazil to see his father.

You know, there is REALLY something wrong with Hayley-I mean, for god's sakes, let the man go visit his dying father! What is WITH her neuroses? She really doesn't realize how good she has it-but I don't really see them lasting forever-at some point, they are going to separate.

Not trying to start anything here, but what is wrong with being a DO? They go to medical school just as long as MDs. They are Drs., not like a chiropractor or a PhD or something.

I know plenty of DOs who are great doctors, but it usually means that you couldn't get into a school that awards MDs. For a tool like this who obviously just wanted to be a doctor because he thought it would be glamorous and make him rich, it tells me something about his academic track record.

I can't believe the giant boobs the car lady got. She looked ridiculous! If her nipples were half the size of a quarter, I can't imagine what they look like on those circus boobs. Dr. Li should not wear such short skirts to work. I'm sure when she plops down on that stool she is showing her goodies to the patients.

Is anyone still watching this show or am I the only one?

At least we had a break from Dr. Will and the Li family this week. I'm just tired of see Dr. Will's smug face. On Big Brother I didn't mind so much, but this show? Ugh. And Dr. Li bugs. I know nothing about plastic surgery but her work just seems so sloppy to me. After last week's episode, I wondered how much time Dr. Li spends with her family. It looked like their son wanted the father when he was injured, not her. Not that it matters, but I just don't think they're as big and happy a family as they want us to think. She just doesn't seem very 'motherly' to me.

I also go back and forth on Dr. Rey. There are times I like him, and other times I cannot figure him out and he gives me the creeps. The visit with his father this week seemed so anticlimatic to me. Hayley just seems too needy to me too.

I looked at Dr. Rey's Wiki entry. He had a strange childhood. The Mormons missionaries brought him and his brothers to Utah.

His education is impressive

Rey earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Arizona State University in 1983, a Master's degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and an M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1990. [4]

I thought that posters on TWoP determined that he only took a couple classes at Harvard?

Anyway, I'm out on this show. I just couldn't take it anymore and decided to watch No Reservations instead at that time.
