Food courts! Of the future!! I love the scene in TC where the female lead enters and Servo says "She's wearing two kinds of plaid! I'm a naked robot, and even I know that's a fashion faux pas."

WikiQuote has a great collection of quotes from all the MST seasons. I spent hours at my old temp job browsing through it and vainly attempting to stifle my fits of laughter. "Remember to believe in magic or I'll kill you!" ETA: The Werewolf Indian chant (which is f'ing BRILLIANT!) reminds me of another song that I used to have an MP3 of. It's called the "Tom Servo Men's Academy Hymn" and is sung by a chorus of Servos. It contains the immortal lines: "We are kids for saving earth/We are fans of Colin Firth/As we sail through yonder blue/We really move our tails for you/Cross the wide Missouri......" Does anyone remember that? It kept me in stiches. Alas, I no longer have the MP3, and I don't know what episode it's from or where I'd find it again. Sigh.

I know there was a Servo Men's Chorus in The Starfighters (the horrid Air Force movie with the endless plane refueling sequences and one of my favorite lines: "We have a visual ID on numbnuts.").
I kind of want to say they brought the chorus back in other episodes, but I'm not sure.

Reading the feminism thread has reminded me of a quote and I can't remember which particular movie it was from: "Do you ever get the feeling that a lot of directors have some issues with women?". Yes, yes I do.

I think that line is from The Incredibly Strange Creatures..., iceblink, because it featured a lot of weird pseudo stripping and violence directed at women.
I haven't seen The Starfighters, I just dl'ed the song and loved it. I also *love* the madrigal chorus in Quest of the Delta Knights, although seeing a buxom female version of Tom Servo was a little weird to say the least.

Oh oh ooohhhh. Best. Show. Evah! I remember that the first thing I saw of this show was the movie on a cable channel; I didn't know it was a TV show, I didn't know anything about it (I live in Latin America), and yet there I was, thinking this was the strangest and funniest thing I had ever seen in my life.
A couple of years later, I found out the wonderful truth: I was going to be able to see 10 seasons of what is today my favorite show. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy for proclaiming my eternal love for a show I discovered years after it's cancellation.
I consider "The Canada Song" from The Final Sacrifice one of the greatest moments of american television. How they got away with it, I don't know ( up to this day, I don't understand the dynamics between americans and canadians), but that segment was awesome.

The Starfighters is bad. Bad bad. It's basically what happens when the Air Force tries to make a lighthearted romp of a movie. But Lordy, is it ever a funny episode.
Quest of the Delta Knights!!! I love that one!
Wizard teaching his apprentice how to shoot tiny poison darts: "These will put a grown man to sleep almost instantly."
Crow: "They're tiny James Michener novels."
ZING! So cold. So funny.

Yes, I HAVE gone onto Netflix and put all of the available MST3K movies onto my queue (Minus Santa Claus vs. the Martians & Manos: The Hands of Fate).
Right now--I'm watching "Hercules vs. The Moon Men" which is where "Deep Hurting" originated...
As my MST3K videos are in a box somewhere--isn't Pod People the one where Joel going on Smuckers Rasberry Jam?

As my MST3K videos are in a box somewhere--isn't Pod People the one where Joel going on Smuckers Rasberry Jam? LOL, yes it is. It's also the one with Servo's extended "Music from Some Guys in Space" riff, which supposedly the actual "Music from the Hearts of Space" guys were really cool about.
