OMG how does Josie keep maintaining? I don't get it! As for Micah, yeah, a little too much confidence.

I know this was a few episodes ago but I'm catching up via iTunes. I am among those who are so happy to see John gone. He was abrasive all season, but the final nail in the coffin was to see how he treated Lizzie in their burger cookoff. He took all of her dill, and then had the balls to keep insisting that he took the high road by saying, "But I could have just used all the pickles! See how nice I am?" Ugh. Asshole.
Team Kristen all the way. So talented, doesn't get flustered, not antisocial and off in her own little world but doesn't get caught up in the bullshit either.
I miss my beautiful Bart. And please, make Josie leave and never come back. I'm sure she's fun in small doses, but I can see how too much time with her would drive you insane.

I understand wanting to see John gone, but there is a part of me (in the watching a metaphorical train wreck sense) that would have liked to see him in the "Restaurant Wars" episodes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed (since I don't read reality show spoilers) that Josie doesn't botch things for Kristen's team next week. I'm not sure if it's worse having her or being one man down.

I didn't get the annoyance at Josie's laugh at first, but this week pushed me over the edge. I dunno, for some reason I don't get John as a jerk...whenever someone has to pack up their knives, they're crying for their families, cursing, and talking about a raw deal. IMO it's just chef personality. Carla drove me up a wall with her talk of being pretty (although I laughed when Stefan was like 'Um her ex is in the Mafia? No thanks.').
I'm not sure why Kristen picked Josie over...anyone. Yikes. There must be something they see in each other that we don't.

I knew better than to start believing that a talented female chef could win this show. Every season they boot off the talented female chefs early and let the moron female chefs skate by. It's total bullshit.

It's total bullshit. Indeed it is. And they keep denigrating Stephanie's win, saying that if Blaise hadn't screwed up he would have won. He keeps acting like he was owed a victory and I continue to believe that the All Star season was designed solely so he would win. Kristen beat CJ in Last Chance Kitchen, so there's a chance she'll come back. Fingers crossed!

I'm not one of those people who dislikes an episode and immediately goes, "This show is dead to me!" but in this case, I really don't know if I can keep watching. Kristen being eliminated before Josie is a travesty. Josie is a shit chef and kind of a shit person, especially during this episode, and she's been consistently in the bottom all season. The judges know it, we know it, it's obvious. And yet Kristen goes. Kristen, the one who has won how many elimination challenges? I lost count, but it's at least three, maybe four.
I really am sick of the produced fueled "shock" eliminations. This is probably the most blatant one I've ever seen. Not to mention, this is the kind of thing that makes me side eye Tom and his oft-reported dislike of female chefs. I've given him the benefit of the doubt before, but, only one female winner in nine seasons? The female front-runner being eliminated before chefs that she's light years ahead of? Hmm.

Conspiracy theory: I believe that the producers orchestrated the Save a Chef fan vote this year specifically to bring back Kristen in case she loses at LCK. They knew what an uproar her elimination would cause and this way, they can play up the drama of having her return.

I hated the fact that padma said "Josie...you are safe." this show never does that, and I was thinking just last week how much I appreciated that. Total producer involvement on that.
I think Gail and Tom wanted Josie gone, and since when does Padma carry as much weight as them?
Josie is horrible, I can't stand her. But when Kristen was saying "bite your tongue" to herself, I yelled "no! Don't bite your tongue!" I understand the integrity thing, but now was her time to stand up for herself. She should have been more open about the time mgmt issues Josie had which is what screwed up that dish.
