Going back a bit, I loved that Blaise didn't make it to the final group on Duels and Stephanie did. I feel like they've always been disrespectful of her win, as if she only won because Blaise screwed up and not because she's an awesome chef.

Yeah, it is the number one reason why I can't like Blaise. He was such a sore loser in Season 2. And I felt like Top Chef All-Stars was simply an excuse to have him redeemed.

Damn. It's been a while! I just need to vent about this week's episode and the quickfire. They included every single region in the entire country except Emilia-Romagna (where I live, and which is often referred to as the culinary capital of the country). WTF?!

It feels like they're building Stephanie up for the surprise win, but I don't remember TC ever being this heavy handed before. And I honestly don't see how she beats the other 3. Team Melissa! |

Hasn’t Kevin been kicked off twice so far this cycle? Just coming back through last chance kitchen? I thought he got kicked off once, then came back through LCK but he had to beat 2 out of 3 over there to get back in before the finale. I know he went packed his knives over Restaurant Wars but don't recall another elimination. It's weird this time - I loved Kevin first time and loathed Brian Voltaggio. This time I'm more sympathetic to Brian V and Kevin is bugging. But I am still impressed with Melissa's quiet, consistent path. |

Yeah, I definitely would be happy if Melissa won. I like Brian because he's the normal Voltaggio brother. Michael looks like a heroin addict and has a surly personality--or at least he did when he was on the show. |

I’m on Team Anyone But Kevin. He grates on my nerves sooooo much.
I’m shocked that Stephanie is still there, I mean I like her but she keeps making stupid mistakes and has really only skated by.

I’m shocked that Stephanie is still there, I mean I like her but she keeps making stupid mistakes and has really only skated by. She's surged the last few weeks, which really shocked me. I thought she'd be gone way before now. No shade, because I like her, but she benefited early from others making worse mistakes than her. I was bummed to see Gregory (aka Grown Up Urkel) get the boot. He is so talented. It sucks he had to contend with a bad back in the last challenge--that must've been unpleasant. |
