Amanda Peet doesn't bother me. I think Sarah Paulson is horribly miscast. It's sad because I really liked her on Deadwood and dude, she was Merly from American Gothic! But I think she's terrible here. It doesn't help that her character is annoying and irrational...and not in a good "it's fun to watch!" way.

Right now I'm having patience that they will show why the hell Matt is in love with someone that immature. I'm not blaming the actress -yet.

I agree with this. She's just not working for me. I'm not sure if she's miscast or if it's just that she will probably never have the same level/quality of chemistry with Matthew Perry that Bradley Whitford has with him.

Miss Ali seems to be the only poster completely up in arms about it. Big surprise there.

I really liked Amanda Peet tonight and I love that she is changing up the Sorkin rhythm. It makes for a change of pace. And I like the character of Harriet, but am still a bit unsure about the actress. She was much funnier in Down With Love. She seems a bit lost here.

Quite a few posters mentioned it, but I didn't see her comments. I did notice that she edited a post, replacing her original message with the cmment about just staying out of it. What did she say originally?
