I have never been a big comic book fan--I read them when I was younger, Spiderman, Fantastic Four Archie (hee!). I think I should be insulted. I read them, and I'm 28. *sob* No, no! I just stopped reading them for some reason. He is beautiful. I already posted some pics of him in the Pretty thread! BFF! Love ya. We just won't tell Sleepy,Dwa,Shanmac or India. . Ssshh!

No, no! I just stopped reading them for some reason. Because you grew up! Go on and say it--that's what you meant! The Hulk is a good theory for Vegas mom. I wish they'd come up with some other powers though. It seems like every character has an old power--but then again, how many powers can there be? You have thousands of comic books characters, so if you give someone a power on a TV show, someone in a comic book is bound to have had it first. Of course, it would be awesome if someone on the show drove a Fiddle Car and attacked people with music, but I guess every power from comics shouldn't be revisited.

I KNEW he looked familiar
Count me in with those who loved the show. I can't wait for next week although I do want to watch it again because I think I missed something in the beginning. I don't remember seeing Richard Roundtree at all but I think I read that he is Peter's patient and Simone's dad?

I think they're showing the episode on SciFi network this Friday. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

This was awesome! Best season premiere I've seen this year. I love a good serialization mystery - lots to look forward to.
I can't go on the threads at TWOP- too many people complaining about the science and comic book aspects. It's just a show!
It takes me half a season to learn the names of everyone on a show - so forgive me for my generalizations below.
I think StripperMom is a Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde type somehow, or a Freddy Krueger.
Loved Mohinder - I guess his job is to find them all? I have to laugh at "immigrant driving a cab". Cab drivers lose a lot of money starting up with their rental/medallion/gas costs. He's just going to get a job after a few days in the city? Or is he pretending to be his father?
Cheerleader was getting gross at the end. And how did she discover her powers?
So Nurse Guy can't fly, but his brother Slimy Candidate can?
Japanese Guy was cute if hopelessly geeky about everything. So he seriously got himself to NY?
And next week - Greg Grunberg! Woohoo!

So Nurse Guy can't fly, but his brother Slimy Candidate can? Okay I had to answer the phone right after this started. Didn't he fly at the very beginning? Or was he dreaming and I just missed that part?

Yes, he was dreaming. He kept having visions of flying or what he thought was flying.

I liked this well enough to give it another try. I think I'll have to watch the repeat on Sci-Fi since I was kinda distracted when I watched it.
The nerdy Japanese guy is awesome. He's definitely an early favorite. I also like cheerleader girl and her possibly evil father. I'll definitely tune in next week since I love Greg Grunberg.
