I loved this! I hope they can keep it up and not start frustrating the hell out of me like Lost.

I really liked this show. Hiro, the cheerleader and Ali Larter's character are my favorites so far.

Yeah, Ali Larter's character (stripper), seemed to have the most confusing power. I took it that the reflection version of her was a powerful separate entity and came out of the mirror to take care of stuff while the real her is unconscious. But it sounds more like a Jekyll and Hyde thing.
I love nothing more than when I can't sit back and say, "Ok, that's the bad guy, she's going to die, <insert predictable plotline here>..." This show had me riveted right from the beginning. I can't wait to watch how this all comes together. I loved finding the connections everyone had. Very subtle! Except, of course, for the cheerleader's dad. Yikes!
Looking forward to next week!
Oh, and "word" on the man pretty. ROWR!

I only caught a few minutes of the show, but what a few minutes! The internet Chinese Back Street Boys dressed in head bands and red basketball shirts singing "That Way". Genius!!!!!

I liked the show, but not as much as "The 4400," which it copies intensely, right down to some of the abilities, the genetic aspect to the powers, and the need for the super people to save mankind. It's hard for me to watch Heroes without comparing it to my favorite show.

It's hard for me to watch Heroes without comparing it to my favorite show. I've never seen The 4400, but as a geek, I was totally getting an X-men vibe. Wolverine, Angel, Nightcrawler, and next week we get a telepath? If a bald dude in a wheelchair shows up, then we know for sure where they got the idea.

That's funny Petals. I was thinking that the hot guy from India was going to act as a Professor Xavier-type person.
Kafka, now that you mention it. I see how these shows may have the potential for similarities, although I didn't watch The 4400 past the first season.
I'll be curious to see if and how this show sets itself apart from the rest.

That's funny Petals. I was thinking that the hot guy from India was going to act as a Professor Xavier-type person. Me too. And then I took it a step further and decided that he'd still be hot, even bald. What a pretty, pretty man.

Okay since I did not catch the pilot and will unfortunately get home at least 15-20 minutes into the repeat, what happened for all of them to get powers?
