I also watch religiously. This show is so damn good. My thoughts:

*Way to make another shitty decision, Tim. Saw it coming, but still. If I knew him, I would punch him.
*Becky actually annoys me, which surprises me because even if I don't like a character on this show, I can acknowledge that s/he is written and acted extremely well. But for some reason I can't get myself to appreciate her in any way, but I guess the season's not over.
*I hope Matt calls Julie soon. I think it was a little crappy of him to not at least call.
*But! Zach Gilford's acting in 'The Son' was just...wow. I was blown away. I've never cried so many times in an hour.
*Luke! I love you! And I'm better than Becky! Painkiller addiction is bad, but you being shirtless is good!
*I really want to know the whole Vince/Jess backstory, and I so hope his mom doesn't relapse. My heart couldn't take it. Also, love Vince, love the new angle he brings to the show.

I think that's all for now, but I'm sure I'll have more brilliance to share with you later.

Tim and Becky, ugh. He slept with her mom. There is no coming back from that! I will never be not grossed out by their relationship. The after-hours enterprise at Riggins' Rigs will not end well.

I'm glad they are finding Buddy Garrity things to do.

Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton were nominated for Best Actor/Actress Emmys this year. About damn time.

I'm pissed Zach Gilford didn't get a nom, but FINALLY! And the show deserves a Best Drama nom!

Yes, True Blood is okay, but it definitely seemed like they got in because there has to be a HBO show since it didn't get any other major nominations while FNL got actor, actress, and writing.

I'm so happy that Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton were finally recognized though.

I hate to use an acronym, but ITA!!! He absolutely nailed that episode! I watched the episode when it first aired on DirecTV, but I will never forget ZG's face when he makes the guy at the funeral home open the coffin. ZG made me want to puke and cover my eyes when I saw his reaction. It had to be the most awful and unimaginable thing ever and he was able to convey that reaction. i wish he received a nomination but props to Connie and Kyle!

I couldn't even go through with that scene at first, once I figured out what Matt was about to do; I had to stop the DVR and take a deep, deep breath. Gawd, it was amazing.

The drunken rant with the boys just before that was also magnificent.

ETA: And that dinner scene at the Taylors' too!
