I hate, and I mean HATE Ross, and David Schwimmer. Not sure if this is rational or not, but I will say that I think he is a most terrible actor, and that whiny baby voice he does all the time makes my skin crawl. He is supposed to be a major douche in real life too, according to quite a few accounts.
I was "eh" on the show. If I am channel surfing and pass by an episode, it is undoubtedly one I've seen many, many times before. Like the Tobolerone one, or the two big chairs one. Very descriptive, I confess, but I am sure the fans on here will know which ones I am talking about.

I found my new best friend. The Schwimmer hate is on.

Hmm Topher---maybe we hate all of the same celebrities--what are your feelings on Cameron Diaz?


Anyhoo--it's just a Pavlovian response--if he utters more than three words, I want to punch him in the face.
I'm trying to decide which one of these annoying people was my "favorite"? ...I guess it's whoever got the least screen time.

I hated the Phoebe pregnancy storyline. And especially the episode when she had the babies. But I loved when she would say her last name was Falangee (or however you spell that!) I especially liked when she used it in the Vegas episode.

How you feel about David and Ross is how I feel about Phoebe and Lisa. I LOATHE her and Lisa always seems like such a bitch in real life. I never understood why she was considered the "serious" actor of the bunch. Jennifer, Courtney, and David all had better side projects than her. Lisa had only one good role outside of Friends in The Opposite of Sex.

However I will always adore David because he is awesome at physical comedy and he was responsible for most of my favorite episodes:

1. "Pivot"
2. Trifle Thanksgiving
3. The Moist-Maker Sandwich
4. The Routine
5. The episode where he plays the bagpipes
6. The episode where he plays the keyboard
7. The Leather Pants
8. The Vegas episodes
9. Arm-wrestling Chandler in the Halloween episode (though the outtakes are much funnier)
10. The Thanksgiving where he has to list all of the states

I loved David Schwimmer in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I agree that the earlier seasons were the best. Ross went downhill QUICKLY apres-Emily. And even though Ross/Rachel was drama, it wasn't as drama-y as the show later got, in general.

My least favorite things:

*Phoebe in the last couple of seasons, esp. the episode w/ the rats
*Ross w/ the turkey sandwich and the "anger" (I thought that was ridiculous)
*Rachel and Joey's "couple"-ness
*Emily. What a biotch.

That's all I can think of...for now.

Hey, count me in on the Ross/Schwimmer hate! Few things make my skin crawl as much as the leather pants episode or "PIVOT!" Hate hate hate hate!

The episode where Ross plays "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang on the bagpipes is just a hoot. But I did not like it when Phoebe started singing along, I thought it ruined the scene.

"V" is for how very fine I am
"E" is for how extremely normal this is

Or something like that. Makes me laugh every time.
