She is coming back for what was initially a several episode story arc. However, they've been having her come back like three times now since her final departure and me thinks that they'll bring her back (if she's willing) on a more permanent basis since they're short a lead cast member.

Shemar Moore took to Instagram in a video about his feelings on this matter and basically boiled it down to karma is a bitch:

Now obvs it won't be Dr. Reid being lead or head of the BAU, but I wonder if that'll go to Rossi? It would make sense, but at the same time, he's always played the role of veteran BAU G-man (being one of the original founders of the department along with Gideon). However, I think it would be a reasonable choice all things considered. Are they still going to keep Aisha Tyler this new season? I hadn't heard anything and it didn't seem like they were getting rid of her entirely. I still giggle at the Ghost Whisperer connection when Jennifer Love Hewitt left CM (which I think was due to having her baby and wanting to take a step back), the next person was Aisha Tyler to fill her shoes.

I wish they bring back some love for Reid because that poor guy has been seriously shafted in that department. If they went full circle and brought back that actress from the early seasons that he knew as a kid who he fell for, I'd be happy and they could just end the season. I just hope overall they do the fans right and don't give us some sort of Quantum Leap ending that will leave me screaming at the TV for wasting 12 years.

I haven't regularly watched the show the last couple seasons, but I'll definitely tune in to see how they write Hotch out.

I haven't watched CM in years. I may have to check it out and see where they are now and how they end up being Hotchless. One wonders if they'll push his character out in a similar way to when JJ and Prentiss were ousted. I doubt he'll be on to close out his character. Maybe they'll kill him off off screen. Car accident or something.

If the showrunners really want to stick it to Gibson, they could have him die in a car or plane crash on his way to a case or something (he travels separately from the group) and then have it turn out to be murder. His death becomes a case, and the team's investigation turns up all kinds of unsavoury info about him. Heh.

Some of the posters at previously.tv are going to hurt themselves stretching to come up with any reason why TG isn't to blame for kicking another human.

Apparently the guy TG kicked is a martial arts expert. The way I look at it TG is lucky all he got is fired.
