I'm watching...feeling Sweden might pull it off this year. Not understanding the inclusion of Australia in a European contest. Personally, I don't have a favorite.

I just saw a Eurovision thread and got excited, then opened it to realise it has been going since 2007 and there are a few posts each year Think I want Sweden to win, just because he's hot.

I missed most of the performances, sadly. Will have to catch up later.

We're going back to Stockholm next year, Sweden's won.
I really liked Belgium's entry, and even Australia's was quite catchy.

No real standouts for me this year, though I did like Belgium's entry. We recorded it and despite it recording for three hours and 34 minutes, it still cut off as they were getting the votes in. Funnily, it cut off right after the vote tallies from the Netherlands were announced.

I’m bringing this thread from the dead. Damn you Coronavirus! We truly had a genuine chance this year but you totally ruined it for us!

I’m bringing this thread from the dead. Damn you Coronavirus! We truly had a genuine chance this year but you totally ruined it for us! Thanks for linking, Sayra! I really like the song. Also, how is it Eurovision time again? Didn't it just happen? I guess a year flew by. Speaking of awesome Icelandic things on YouTube, I really like mörges channel. She's a good hearted, smart, funny woman. She speaks Icelandic to her pets and says she's speaking "ice cream". I enjoy her accent, which is not as strong as she says it is, and I look forward to her saying "disgusting!" and "Un-Christian!". Not a Eurovision competitor, but worth checking out. mörges Her channel.

The vast majority of them are sadly shallow and uniteresting but some of them can be funny although most of them usually communicate in Icelandic. Her accent sounds quite thick and not really like how the majority of us sound like but I’ve always liked Björk’s accent because it has always sounded authentic to me and not too pretentious and you can tell she’s been around British and American speakers that have influenced her accent. Ok, now I’m randomly just listening to Björk’s Joga and Hyperballad.
