Hmmm...an interesting way to get rid of the girlfriend. Ooh! Ooh! What happened? I missed it, like I do all new episodes. I can't wait until they put it on TNT!

I can't wait until they put it on TNT! spoiler- the gist of it is that Booth proposed to her and she turned him down, saying that she's "not the marrying kind." She wanted to pretend the proposal never happened and go back to the way things were before, but Booth didn't so they broke up instead. The scene at the bar with Brennan at the end was excellent, I don't know how David Boreanaz managed to summon that depth but kudos to him. He did great.

Finally caught up on this last night (except I still haven't gotten around to watching the crazy Gravedigger ep, even though I'm spoiled for it). Whoa, Boreanaz, where did you learn to do that? I didn't think he had that kind of performance in him. He really sells "drunk and distraught."
Hannah was right, though — she was pretty clear from the start that she wasn't into a traditional relationship/marriage. It was sad to see Booth wondering what was wrong with him that these women didn't want to marry him, but I think it's not him, but the women he picks. I'm not sure about his ex/Parker's mom, but Bones was always very clear about not wanting anything more than casual relationships (though she did end up changing her mind), and so was Hannah.

Hilarious contrast to him in his early Buffy days. Every time Booth waxes poetic about "marriage" and "forever" and "one person" blah blah blah, I can't help but think what a dog Boreanaz is and then it ruins everything for me. haha. (I know, I know, character does not = real life person. But STILL!)

I guess I'm just so over this show because when Boreanaz was blathering on, all I could do was roll my eyes.

So what was up with the entire lab needing to solve the murder in a little over eight hours? I really don't get the urgency. Most of the stuff they were doing would have taken days to finish, even with the most brilliant minds working on it.

I decided long ago to treat shows such as Bones and House as fantasies, where the rules that real people live by don't apply. It makes them much more enjoyable for me. I definitely needed that outlook for the last episode.

Of course they never go home until a case is solved! Existing dinner plans? Nope, they'd have to be cancelled. Yeah, I was rolling my eyes a lot.
