What the hell was THAT? Did anyone watch it last night? I'm assuming that they're setting up a new show with Finder Guy, Eliza Doolittle and Michael Clarke Duncan. It was definitely let's care about this guy and his team episode, aren't they quirky and fun?  |

Was not a fan of last night's ep and yes they introduced those characters for a spin off series in the fall. Can't say that I will be tuning in. Saffron burrows accent was just horrific. I think they need to rework the concept and characters or it will be an epic fail. It all seemed so forced.

It seems like every show I've ever watched the creator has peaced out at the 5 year mark. Wonder what that's all about.
Did we ever find out how The Finder (ugh) did his magic? I was only half paying attention, if even that. For the people that don't read the internets, I'm sure the show got a big WTF last night since they had all those new people taking over the show. (My stepmom asked me what the hell that was, I told her and she just said, "Oh." No interest and she watches a LOT of crap TV. Heh.)

Is that what his issue is, brain damage?? He won't go to a doctor in case he loses his "magical" finding powers, which looked like it amounted to sitting on some guy's shitter looking at his porn collection. Nice. What should we call that new show?

I HATE back door pilots. Hate them. It's one thing if you're doing a spin-off of an already established character, but this shit is just stupid.

I don't watch a ton of TV, so I've never seen anyone pull something like that. It's not even technically a spin-off if the character's not even in the original show, is it?! I don't know what the point was of them inserting NEW SHOW!!! into Bones. |

It's been done before. I remember when they tried it on The Nanny, the network opted not to go ahead with the new series so the episode made no sense at all.

I hope they give up on the idea of making whatever that was into a spinoff. They can keep Michael Clarke Duncan though. He can replace Brennan's imaginary night watchman as Brennan's imaginary bodyguard/legal advisor in future episodes. Speaking of, I guess that idea went nowhere... WTF is happening to this show?
