I finally gave up on it this year. I just can't handle yet another TV pregnancy where the couple in question became a couple off-screen. Hubby used to watch this with me, and I had it on last night when he wandered into the room at the end (when Booth and Bones were making out in the laundry room). He was like, "OK, clearly I missed something, because I don't remember that going on." "Yeah, he knocked her up and now they're a couple. Supposedly, because all of that happened offscreen." "Oh, OK, makes sense." Oh well. I'll probably go down with the ship on this one since I've been watching it from day one. I am really pissed that the bad guy got whisked away at the end. I like the bad guy of the week episodes -- I've never thought they've done the ongoing "super villain" story lines very well (ex: the Gravedigger, Gormagon, etc). The guy was in lockup -- how the hell would he be able to change his identity from a jail cell? He's supposed to be a computer genius, not a magical being. Sheesh.

Yeah, this is me. This is the only show I hate-watch. I roll my eyes constant and I'm frequently thinking, "Oh, come on! As if!" throughout it all, but I used to enjoy it and I keep thinking it will go back to not being stupid. I supposed this episode was better in that it wasn't as goofy, which is a small mercy, but it was still pretty awful and unbelievable. Is this the last season? Perhaps they could have the bad guy actually kill everyone off at the end. I can't say that would upset me at this point. Ooo! Or better yet, let Zach(? the intern from the early years who supposedly was helping Gorgamon or whomever) come back and kill them all off!

I was definitely curious what they'd do with Bones taking the baby and leaving. So uhm...nothing, I guess. Booth wasn't pissed at all? No repercussions for that act? Okay. That's this show I guess. Total reset and back to normal with, I'm sure, the bad guy sending them flowers every once in a while to keep the latent freak out still in effect. Maybe the bad guy will kill Bones' dad down the road? I don't really care, I'm just glad she took off the shitty wig.

This and Glee are the shows I watch but have zero respect for. I started hating the writers when they turned Zach into a serial killer's accomplice. Then they had that incredibly awful season finale when every character was playing someone else and I didn't know what the hell was going on except that I hated all of them. Bones' wig was hideous. I could not stop staring at it and wondering, is it made from corn fibers? Maybe some kind of material they scrape off a melon rind? It reminded me of a sloth's fur after the moss starts growing in it. As for the bad guy who can magically hack anything in the universe with just a shoelace and stick of gum, I hate those kinds of stories. Super lazy. They should leave that stuff to CSI and just get back to normal cases.

I think I've reached my limit with this show. The 9/11 episode and now this week's episode were both ones that I stopped and deleted after about 15 minutes. They both seemed over-the-top in their emotionalism, making it all feel cheap. And the characters have become caricatures of themselves. They've all gotten sappy and stupid and the overarching emphasis on kids is grating. I used to enjoy this show, but it just pisses me off now.

I've reached my limit, too. Last night I half-watched while doing chores.

Bones has turned into a HITSSO for me. Apparently Booth was framed for murder.

What is HITSSO?
I'm a season behind. I wait for the past season to show up on netflix so I can watch it all in order as background noise. I find it much more enjoyable that way. It's just not appointment television anymore. I'm surprised it's still on.
