The kneecaps -- gaaaah! I love that Bones realized something was terribly awry but calmy ushered her brother's girlfriend out of the apartment so she wouldn't have to see. And then ... kneecaps! *Sob*

I thought the kiss on the cheek was so sweet.

My only issue with this show is that I can't stand Ryan O'Neal, so I hate it when Bones' dad pops up. I can't separate his "Bones" douchebaggery from his real-life douchebaggery. So even when we're supposed to think, despite his crimes, he does love his daughter, I just think, "Manipulative douche. I hate you." I was cheering for Booth in the ep where he got to fistfight with him, and I'm glad he arrested his sorry ass.

I love how they show that despite how much he cares about Bones, he still does the right thing (i.e., arresting her dad and brother).

It was! And yet I'm totally cringing at the previews for next week. I wish they would just get it on already instead of drawing the whole relationship thing out and out and out.

My only issue with this show is that I can't stand Ryan O'Neal, so I hate it when Bones' dad pops up.

Again, same here. And I very meanly thought, "Wow, that jumpsuit makes him look so dumpy!" last night.

I'm very concerned at how they will handle a romantic Bones/Booth relationship. I like things the way they are with a hint of something possible. I just don't have a lot of faith because so often tv shows just make a mess of it. I think of all the shows I liked that went downhill fast after the two main characters hooked up.

I totally agree that it could be very bad for the show to actually get them together. But I'm also just really sick of the will-they-won't-they, "Look how close their faces are! You totally thought they were going to kiss, didn't you?" moments.

Did anybody watch the premiere last night? I was unimpressed. First, the whole Angela/Hodgins breakup just seemed so random - in the first episode, the universe is sending signals, they're meant to be, and then they break up? The show seemed to be 75% slapstick and sex "hijinx" and 25% actual mystery.

I think it may have jumped the shark with the Gormagon resolution and may not recover.

I taped it and just watched it.

The resolution of the first murder puzzled me. The butler jumped up and said "I did it" and that was it? What was his motive - to protect his boss? It just baffled me and came out of nowhere.

I did see the Hodgins/Angela break-up coming once she was so pissed at Cam for sleeping with her ex. I guess they don't want any happy couples on the show.

I must admit I was less than impressed by the premiere - hopefully things pick up quickly.

That annoyed me too. I don't blame the new guy (Carter?) for leaving, because I totally agree with him - those people are so unprofessional! I mean, I know it's just a TV show, but come on - isn't anything private to them?

I also get a laugh out of the fact that every opposite gender person the characters ever meet always finds them irresistible and just happens to be available. This show might as well be sci-fi, that's how realistic it is.

That Ian dude was so obnoxious, urgh. But I liked the English cop, she was lovely. I hope she'll be back.

Lastly, can I just say: oh Sweets, how much do I hate you, let me count the ways?! I can't believe they got rid of Zack but kept this guy. I just want to punch him every time he's on screen - gawds, he is SO annoying!

The show has been so disappointing lately. I want to like Sweets since I do like John Francis Daly but Sweets was just hanging around the lab for no reason. Just like Angela's husband. After Zack, you'd think security in the Jeffersonian would be tighter.

Honestly! Didn't Booth make a big fuss over not being admitted earlier on?

I really hope we won't be subjected to a whole season of "Angela & Jack - will they get back together?" on top of "Bones & Booth - will they do it?"

Because that? On top of missing Zack and having to put up with Sweets? DO NOT WANT! ;D
