She's 70 years old. Legs sometimes look like that at her age be it from sun damage, cicrulatory issues, age spots, or simple genetics. She's done too much to her face, but not enough to her legs. I guess she can't win.

Goldie is at an age where hose would be a good idea, but as a former hippie, I can see the reluctance. Those horse feet heels do her no favors either. Again, she is at an age where one's legs get spindly and oversized shoes make one look like Minnie Mouse. I like Kate's shoes better. So Kate...those are flesh colored inserts, so I am not getting the "Look at her butt!" comments in the article, half her back is exposed, and she has a highish slit on the side, but she is actually more covered than most red carpet dresses.

Also, none of Kate's outfits are amazing but I don't think they're hideous either. She's not an ingenue and she hasn't had any major projects this year, so I don't imagine her getting the top design pics these days.

How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days was on last night. I was flipping between that, the bowl games, and the Twilight Zone marathon, and I finally gave up on the movie. Not even McConaughey's presence can make me sit through it any more.

My best friend used to buy me movie tickets and then "force" me to see rom-coms. She would ask if I wanted to go see "Gangs of New York" with her and that was code for "do me a solid and see a movie with me and bring booze in your purse to share." Anyway, yeah. That was one of those movies, and it stood out as bad in a sea of bad, hah. They don't make movies like that too often anymore (that's probably a good thing?).

If they aren't amazing she shouldn't be getting so many accolades for her style. If everyone gushes about your clothes you should be doing better than "Oh well, it's not hideous." You should be getting "Wow, that is fantastic!"

I guess I haven't really seen any gushing over her or nods to her on any year-end top looks lists. Mostly just red-carpet pics establishing that she was at an event.
ETA: weren't you saying in the original post with the links that these are the most hideous/desperate/dated looks ever? I was just doing a ymmv and saying they're not that bad to me.

I never said otherwise, I was was trying to be generous by quoting you as saying you think they're simply not amazing, I realize that is a YMMV. Are you always this hard on new posters or what? I'm getting a very "you're new and you can't sit with us at lunch" vibe from your posts towards me both here and in the Demi Moore thread.

If that is how I come across, then I apologize. This is a board where we are encouraged to share opinions and debate, as long as it's kept civil. To me, your posts have come across very negative toward some celebs' addictions, insecurities, and physical appearance, so I was just trying to share/offer a different perspective on things.
Anyway, I'm not here to be a Mean Girl. (I don't think I am?) But I can see maybe I am responding too much here lately, so perhaps I will take a little break today. Cheers!
