All I can think of is that holiday time at the Hudson house has to be so complicated. I'm all for having babies, but three babies by three different men sounds exhausting when dealing with logistics, and who sees who when.
And I agree, baby reveal parties are stupid.

I'm glad you said it, because I couldn't find a non-mean, nonjudgmental way of saying this. I'm not saying, but I'm just saying....If she wasn't rich and white, she would be getting a MASSIVE side-eye.

A friend just posted on FB a picture of her and her husband next to a crib with a sonogram image and said, "It's a Girl!".
Simple. To the point. DONE.
I was thrown that it wasn't some drawn out baby-fest of pink&blue. It's like the couple that did the hard-boiled egg stunt and it was a viral video to find out their baby's gender. It was SO STUPID. They went through TWO DOZEN EGGS until they got the answer. Thanks, Jimmy Fallon for that shit.
I think that Kate is a massive attention whore in general. I get that she has two boys and was really hoping for a girl this time around. The release of the latex balloons was completely irresponsible and did you see the weapon she was brandishing to pop that sucker? SHIT. People running towards her were in serious risk of being stabbed. Both her and one son to the left were both holding them and I don't really think balloons require such massively sharp objects to be popped.

An acquaintance posted Facebook pics of her two-year-old grandson holding one pink and one blue balloon with the caption, "Quin(ton) will be the big brother of twins! #quinstwins"
The picture was adorable (and a perfectly fine announcement of the impending births), but the Twitter hashtag was a bit much...

My hair stylist is pregnant and she just posted her reveal on IG. It was just her, her hubby, and some close family, so maybe 5 people total. They cut the cake and blue m&ms spilled out. It was cute and not OTT. Anything that involves cake and chocolate is a plus in my book. But I'm with y'all. A simple FB post or a phone call is enough. A couple of generations ago we didn't know anything until the baby was born, now we have to have a party!? *grumbles* *shakes cane*

When my grandmother was pregnant with my father in 1941, she didn't even mention it to her family. They showed up one day for a visit and saw that she was 8 months pregnant. And then it was discussed minimally. The good old days.
