I think real Diane is the eyeless woman in the jail cell. When fake Diane started to crack a little she said "I'm in the sheriff's office."
I don't expect them to wrap up every storyline and some I'm fine with not seeing any more. I really don't care if Shelly's daughter or her gross husband are dead or alive. I also don't care if we see any more of James or the guy with the glove. What I would like to get some answers on is where is Audrey exactly. Mental institution, coma, other world? I also want to know what's up with Sarah Palmer and her ability to remove her face. And of course see dark Cooper defeated. Also I'd like Janey to get a new and better version of Dougie. It's weird I found Naomi Watts really annoying originally but she really grew on me. Same with Jim Belushi. Who knew he could act!?

Soooooo, finale. I didn't expect a lot of answers, but I did not expect no answers.
I guess I learned that the FBI team didn't really do jack shit. But nice seeing Albert one last time.
Cooper sees all his old friends back in Twin Peaks for about two minutes before he's all, "Well, see ya, later, folks!" I guess it was nice that Lucy was a hero who saved Other Sheriff Truman from Evil Coop. And nice that random British kid got to punch the BOB ball with his dish glove.
I was really hoping for some answer on what was going on with Audrey, but after watching Cooper and Maybe! Laura Palmer ride in the car in silence for 10 minutes and saw there was only five minutes left in the episode, I figured out it wasn't meant to be. Instead we get Coop and Laura not finding Sarah Palmer because it was either the wrong house or the wrong year.
Nice to rewatch the pilot of Twin Peaks again and a chunk of Fire Walk with Me, I guess.
Lynch is gonna Lynch, I guess. From what I understand, Mark Frost wrote a "Final Dossier" that will be released in October that I assume will have some answers, but...yeah. I'm gonna wait for someone to post them on the internet.

Yeah I knew I wouldn't understand some of it but I didn't think I wouldn't understand so much of it. I read some reviews on AV Club and Vulture which helped clarify things a little but not much. I definitely wasn't expecting everything to be resolved in a neat little bow but I am annoyed that that was how the Audrey story ended. Nice to see Julee Cruise even if it was just for a second.

Just binged this in about three days (when I added Starz for Outlander, they gave me Showtime free on request.)
I loved it. It was VERY David Lynch, which good for him for getting it out of his system, since he was really pissed at the way he had to bow down to network demands in season two. I think the people we didn't know in the Roadhouse was a piece of that. He wanted to have the show go on and on with the stories of the random people in town...so there we go.
And MY GOD, how gorgeous and amazing is Kyle MacLachlan. I had a huge crush on him during the original run, and watched many crappy movies because of it then cooled on him a little over the years, but he is a breathtaking actor. He handily played 6 recognizably different characters and better be remembered for next years Globes and Emmys.
And now I'm going to rewatch the original show with Mr S (who has never seen any of it) and he just painfully handsome and so young.
This morning, before I finished the season finale, Lynch comes out saying there "may be" a 4th. !!!!
