I looked and couldn't find a thread; apologies if one exists!
I just got the season 2 DVDs and man am I fast forwarding through a lot of plot lines once the killer was revealed (gotta love the scene-jump button on DVD players)! James and the woman he meets when he leaves TP, Andy and Dick trying to find Little Nicky's parents. Barely tolerable: the Nadine/Mike romance, the Bobby/Shelly taking care of Leo for the insurance money. When this show was good, it was good, but I'm glad the cancelled when they did.

Oh my goodness. I was so obsessed with TP when I was in junior high that my parents were worried about me. I'd actually be nervous to watch the DVDs, just because I wouldn't want Bob invading my dreams again.
creeeepy
EtA: my nickname in Junior High was Twin Peaks. But not because of the show. SAD FACE! BIG BOOBS! Awkward.

Oh I used to love this show.
I remember watching the 1st ep with my Dad and he was all confused when they didn't reveal the killer - he thought it was a one off.
I loved Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer and her identical cousin - Maddy?
Pretty weird and creepy show at times - the backwards talking midget, Bob.
Didn't Agent Cooper have a breakdown at the end or get taken over by Bob?
I'm actually amazed that I remember so much,

Here I thought I was immune to the affect of Bob but he's still pretty darn creepy. I learned that after watching a Bob episode around midnight. Brrr....

As I remember it, the network forced Lynch to reveal the killer. He hadn't intended to do that, and the show really struggled to find a purpose after the mystery plot was kaput.

He was so perfectly creepy as Bob that I can't imagine anyone else in the role. I loved this show too, and I think it was the first time that I remember being a hardcore shipper because when Annie was brought in as Cooper's love interest, I was so mad because I thought he and Audrey belonged together even though she was underage. I figured they could have waited, and it didn't seem squicky to me because I knew the Sherilyn Fenn was older then 18. It was just such a waste of great chemistry. To this day, I wonder why Sherilyn Fenn didn't have the career that Heather Graham had after the show since I thought Fenn was a lot more beautiful, and even though both weren't the greatest thespians, at least I found her acting to be more tolerable than I do Graham's.

I know nothing about what this show was about, but all I can remember of it was that my mother used to always freak out whenever it came on. We must've watched whatever program was on before it, and if we didn't turn the TV off before this came on it was "AHHH!!! NO! This show is bad! Off off! Turn it off!".

Kinda both from what I recall. And wasn't he repeating, "Where's Annie?" the entire time?
I could not agree more. Sherilyn Fenn was one of the most beautiful women I think I've ever seen on the screen. And far more talented than Heather Graham.
Good god, I loved this show. I remember watching the very first episode and thinking to myself I'd never seen anything like that on TV before. It was so enthralling and clever and gorgeous.
