(I hope I'm not doubling up here - I couldn't find a Kylie thread). Poor Kylie's got breast cancer! She's a pop princess from way back, and I can't help but love her. The BBC is reporting it like a member of the royal family is afflicted - Kylie is very popular here.

I just heard this on the news here in NZ. Poor Kylie. Fingers crossed she beats it.

Yes, I just heard this morning here in the UK.
I read a review of the Showgirl tour at the weekend, and the reviewer said that everyone seemed to be really enjoying it except for Kylie. I don't know how long ago the concert was, but maybe she was distracted by the pending diagnosis then?

Well, with all that botox it's getting difficult to tell if Kylie's enjoying herself or not these days ...

I have to say she really annoys me and I've never understood why people think she's pretty, but this breast cancer news is sad. It sounds like they've caught it pretty early so hopefully she'll be ok.

I hate her music and think her looks and talent are over-hyped.
I feel sorry that she has breast cancer.
My second thought on hearing the news was, is she still going out with the cheating Olivier Martinez? She sure doesn't need a partner like that to make her even more unhappy right now.

I'm fairly ambivilant about her music. I was given her double 'best of' CD for Christmas, and the recent stuff in particular is great, but I've only listened to it once. She's loaded on my iPod, but I never click on her.

She seems like a very strong person (and a really nice one too). I wish her a speedy recovery. She's a serious fighter.

Agreed! I looove her music, but I do think that her looks and talent are overhyped as jgee73 said. I love her type of music, I just don't think that she can sing without something electronically done to her voice. I haven't actually seen her live though, just heard her on TV a couple times. I hope she will be okay.
