I'm not a Kylie fan at all but I do admire her work ethic. I remember just after she'd hit it big and there was a ton of criticism about her voice and how much work the engineers had to do in the studios to make it sound good - seriously, the woman took some stick about it. And yet, she's still in the charts, working away and being successful. How many pop tarts can say the same?
I hope she beats the cancer. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about her character, but even if she is the diviest diva that ever deeved, I'd still hope she beats it.

He was spotted with Salma Hayek more than once during award season, and then I think there were a couple of other reports of other women, I can't remember who. Angelina Jolie was another woman, if I'm not getting my celebrity wires crossed.

Me either, but you're right. She's anomaly in the pop world really.
I find her somewhat pretentious, but Confide in Me and Chocolate are great tracks.
It will take her a while to recover from the chemo, that's often the roughest bit, but it was detected fairly early wasn't it?

That's good. I'm glad she's on the mend.

There seems to be a real conflict of opinion over how well Kylie is doing at the moment, according to ananova. In any case, I'm hping she'ls well enough to return to Australia soon; I think it'll do her the world of good. That said, I think we've seen a fantastic side of Olivier, who seems to be looking after her and helping her to keep her chin up.

I hope the stories about Olivier being by her side and supporting her are true. (And the stuff about him cheating is a lie). Staying and caring for a loved one that's sick says alot about someone's character. The person that's sick can't really give back (emotionally, physically, etc) so the caregiver is really acting out of the goodness of his/her heart (if that makes any sense). I hope Kylie gets better and she and Olivier stay together. That would be a love story I could get into.

Oh wow. And I had just read that she was doing really well. That the chemo and surgery had done its job, and she was declared in cancer-free and in remission. I really hope she is. I inexplicably lover her.
...And if Olivier is cheating I am going to personally kick his ass.

I was just thinking about her today - honestly. It's not fair how some slebs get married or knocked up but she gets... cancer. I lurve her so much. (And my Mum died of cancer, so there you go.)

Her duet with Robbie Williams[/color] was the kind of awesome Britpop we never get here in America. "The press be asking me if I'm into sodomy/I don't know, yeah, probably/I'm looking for serial monogamy/Not some bird that looks like Billy Connelly."
