Yeah, Winona supposedly cheated with Day-Lewis and possibly a couple of other people, so the last year of their relationship was very rocky with a lot of breakups. She was really young at the time--and flaky, of course--but damn her for hurting Johnny! He was so in love with her. Not that it was all her fault--I think he was a little immature at the time too.

Actually, I believe she dumped Johnny for the lead singer of the band Soul Asylum.

My god, what a beautiful couple. Good thing they did'nt spawn, as the rest of the world would not stand a chance. If the rumors are true about her being a HORROR on set and to others (was'nt there a blind vice in Cosmo that is supposed to be her?) then I don't feel bad for her at all. Karma. ROFL!! I wasn't sure about that until I read an article about Winona in a legitimate publication (Time?) around the time of her shoplifting trial. A movie exec who knew Winona was asked whether The Powers That Be in Hollywood would forgive her and he was like, "No, they only forgive people who are nice." He pretty plainly said that there is not a lot of good will for Winona in the industry, which really surprised me because her image was always that she was sweet and everybody loved her.

I never heard about that article. Time doesn't "gossp", so you have to add the rumor some weight. And I have heard it so many places. Maybe someone can dig the Cosmo article up?
I heard she is not just not nice, but is CRUEL. SO I say for all those waiters, underlings and actors who were abused by her:
"Hey Winona, let the door hit you on the ass on the way out"

Cosmo Blind Item. She fits a lot of the clues (size 0, likes pain meds, hot boyfriends, drops out of movies, started acting very young) but so does Juliette Lewis. Both of them are crazy. Juliette doesn't strike me as mean, but then again, Winona didn't used to either.

In that write up, someone says she is tall and slim, but Winona is'nt tall, is she?

Winona definately jumped Johnny Depp for Dave Pirner. "Sassy" magazine printed a picture of both men. Dave looked especially ugly next to Johnny. The caption: "Winona! Are ya blind?" I can't believe I remember that.
I don't like Winona. She gives that me vibe of thinking she's so much smarter than everybody else. Also, I thought it was ridiculous when she posed on the cover of "W" magazine (I think that was the one) wearing a "Free Winona!" shirt. So lame. You did the crime, so suck it up and do the time, Nonny.
