Great episode! Jenny pulled off the mean girl thing while still being likeable. I think she's actually a really good actress, especially for being 14. So cute!

Yes, that's exactly it. I like Dan and I want to like Dan, but he's bordering on being too self-righteous and judgmental. And, as you said, no one needs another Dawson!

The only dude that I find attractive on this show is Nate and he sometimes looks a bit too pretty. I would find the father attractive, but he always has one of those leather cord thingies around his neck and very few older guys can get away with that without looking like a tool. He's not one of them.

And, yeah, Dan's bugging.

Here's a nice little interview (slightly spoilery) with the actor who plays Dan. He does seem to be aware of his character's tendencies of moral superiority which is nice. And he even manages to get in a subtle little dig towards Adam Brody. Personally, I never saw Seth Cohen in Dan Humphrey.

Nate's sad little face at the end made me feel really sorry for him, he was so shocked when he realized that his dad was going to let him take the blame.

Liked the episdoe but I'm not sure why I'm supposed to find Jenny Humphrey awsome. She's ok, not more, IMHO.

The way Vanessa just expected still to be the centre of Dan's life after not being there for a year baffled me. And then she went all "you told me that you loved me!" when this was clearly the thing she asked him to take back immediately after he said it. I did like the ending though with them trying to work things out.

Still love Serena, the scenes between her and Blair and also the scene with Nate showed that she's a much better person than Marissa Cooper and Joey Potter ever were.
The drama at the ball was great especially when Nate mistook Jenny for Serena and told her that he isn't over her. Glad though that Serena showed up behind him immediately so he realized his mistake.

Aww they were really super cute! Like them a lot now. And Vanessa thinks she's Joey Potter .

Still don't see the Jenny Humphrey charm. She's a 14 year old who wants to hang out with her brother's class mates and worships the girl who is BFF (or more) with the guy who tried to rape her. Huh.


Then again, unlike most people I like poor Nate. I couldn't believe that the captain would actually punch his own son! And that mother is awful.

Blair and Chuck. Please. He's disgusting.

Lily and Rufus are sweet and have nice chemistry by now, didn't see it in the beginning but I like them more and more with each episode.
