Man I love this show now. And I really have to take back what I said about Serena being a new Marissa/Joey, she's not (yet), I really like her.

Dan's dad is still way too young and hot to be the father of two teenagers but whatever.

I wish they'd cut back the voice over. I thought it was really unnecessary in the two big S vs. B scenes, especially in the end. Those two actresses do a pretty good job, I didn't feel as if I needed someone to tell me what's going on.
But since the show is called Gossip Girl I guess I'll just have to put up with the VO.

Chuck IS fug. But the good part of that is that I look at his face and think, "Slimy." And I guess that means that they cast the right person.

I'm hooked. I completely forgot about it on Wednesday (I moved into a new house this weekend, so my mind was on other things), and was stoked to see it rerun yesterday (I think), so I managed to catch it. I now have it DVRed to record so I don't miss it.

I'm just a sucker for teen angst tv shows....

I swear that line sold me on this show. I've caught a couple of episodes by accident - now I will have to make sure to tune in.

Chuck is an ugly version of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, IMO. Nate is very pretty, but Dan has the soulful brown eyes. Anyway, I'm WAY to old for all of them. Dan's dad is beyond hot - and also WAY too young to be a dad of teenagers - ditto Kelly Rutherford, whom I'm glad to see back on TV.

Is it wrong that one of my faverite couples is Nate/Chuck? Ok then!

Serena and Blair's friendship, as complicated as it is, seems to be very sweet when it's good. The two actresses have great chemistry together.

Dan's pretty... Can I have him for my birthday?!?

Dan is starting to creep me out a bit. I'm not sure why. I think he looks like John Mayer (did anyone see him in John Tucker Must Die?).

Love this show! I actually really love the voice-over and think it fits perfectly. Chuck is totally fug, and did everyone forget that he basically tried to rape two girls? It's weird.

I think that Dan for some reason is the least interesting of the boys, even Nate, who on paper should be the bland one, manages to come across as more interesting and I can see why Blair and Serena would both fall for him. That's not to say that Dan isn't cute but the fact that he's so easily pissed off and angry at Serena makes him seem a tad bit Dawson-like. Which is something I wish on no fictional character.

Come to think of it...I think that Nate really is the most likeable one out of the boys (despite the unfortunate similarity to Ian Somerhalder). Not sure why he keeps staying friends with date rapist Chuck. He is not really aware of what Chuck has done is he? As Citrus said, the first thing we saw Chuck do on this show, was him trying to rape two girls in one episode. Pretty much beyond redemption.
Hm. Let's see where they go with the boys on this show.

I love Serena and Blair, they're great.

Aw, another very nice episode. I'm so glad there's going to be a full season of this and even if it ends then I'll at least have those 20-something episodes. The show is so...pretty! And it's really entertaining to watch, even the parents didn't bore me as much as usual. It's still a bit weird that Dan's dad looks so very young but I'm used to him now. And I liked how he -when Serena's mom answered the phone- said "If that's my son....be nice to him!"

I realized today that the actress who plays Blair played one of the most annoying characters in the history of 24 (Debbie, season 4). She's great on here though.
