I bailed a few weeks ago when I realized that not only were they all boring, not one of them is likely to change. In other seasons we actually saw real struggle and some people who seemed genuine. This bunch? Phhht. Jason Davis was already arrested. Rachel is probably setting her sights on the next married star. And Janice is probably frantically making calls to get on any reality show out there. Maybe she can pretend to be from Jersey and get on Jersey Shore.

The cast was majorly weak this season and I think it's an indication that the show has run it's course. VH1 should drop Dr. Drew and bring back Surreal Life.

Shocking news! There is a Season 5. I really thought this show was dead. From the story it sounds like it's the filming of Sober House that got disrupted. According to Wiki the cast includes Bai Ling, Michael Lohan, Amy Fisher, and Real Housewife Salahi. That is quite an impressive cast of losers. Congratulations to Dr. Drew for getting someone with the name Lohan to sign on. I'm sure Lindsay will be so inspired by her dad's recovery from....what exactly? I know ML has done cocaine and whatever else in the past, but isn't he supposed to be a totally clean born again Christian now? ETA: Apparently I wasn't the only one who said WTF? about Michael Lohan being in rehab. He tells Radar Online why is is there: "I am at Celebrity Rehab and participating in the show to deal with the issues of codependency, to stop getting involved with and living through people who have addictions, who exhibit negative behavior and to avoid living vicariously thru them," Lohan wrote. "I am looking to give my life the balance."What. Ever. He is there to collect a paycheck, which is the same reason he gave this "exclusive" statement to Radar. Remember codependency? Everyone and their mother had it back in the 80s and early 90s. Times have changed and with the internet media and reality TV people like ML are nothing more than greedy famewhores addicted to attention. What's the treatment? Put them on a reality show where they are showered with attention of course. |

I first read that BOTH Salihis were going to be on - one is more than enough. They are a hideous, hideous couple. I'm not sure what Michaele is going to claim her addiction is - fame? Drew just needs to break down and call it a fame addiction show - and add himself to the cast.
Speaking of - I just saw that Drew is getting his own Headline News show in April. The cross-promotion is going to be endless and painful.

Not to be outdone Dina Lohan has granted her own exclusive interview with Radar. LINK This is so right. Funny how it doesn't occur to her that both parents should avoid publicity. Who is the one who is regularly on the Today Show whenever Lindsay is in the news? Dina, that's who! |

Dina thinks there's a big difference between, "Mommy go help me!" selling out of her kid's privacy, and Michael's UNapproved selling out of the kid's privacy.
I'm sure they'll do that awesome bleeping out of the actual name. Like, "BLEEP thinks I've been a bad father to her." ;D

A shame. I hope he finds peace now.
Over on TWOP they're saying that Heidi Montag is going to be on this show, and that she and Dr. Drew are trying to figure out what to say she has an addiction to. I'd say fame, plastic surgery and idiots, but if they're going to choose a celeb first, then work backwards to find an addiction to justify that celeb's presence, they should just cancel the show. Given that this cast had a Salahi, has a Lohan, and now Montag? I don't think I'll be able to watch.
