Ricco Rodriguez makes my brain hurt. That story he was telling about how he was driving drunk, got in a wreck, and moved his passed out wife into the drivers seat so she took the blame? Awful. That he tells this story to friends like it's some funny wacky joke and everyone laughs about it? Unforgivable.
The stone-cold look of hatred that the female counselor gave him when he told that story? Priceless.

I haven't seen the show but one of my co-workers was telling me about it. Didn't Rodriguez think she was dead? So, he moved the body of a "dead" woman just so he wouldn't get the blame? Classy guy. Are they still together?

She visited him in rehab and he was all confused that his story didn't fly at the group meeting, and was all worried that that one staffer didn't like him. So she was like, "Good. That means she's good people." And he was like, "But my friends laugh at that story!" And she was like, yeah, "You're friends are assholes."
I think they have a kid as well. But it was taken away by child protection services. And he doesn't think he's a bad parent. Just, wow.
I'm so glad that dramatic reenactment was my 1,000 post. Heh. And I thought it would happen in the Britney thread...

My friends and I have constantly taken to saying to each other, just as a fun little catch phrase "NO I DID NOT! TAKE IT BACK!!" Fun times.

Whoever this Ricco clown is, he's a first-rate asshole. I loved how he blatently lied to Shelley when he was asked what he said to Baldwin (another first-rate asshole) on the phone. I mean, I didn't expect much character from him after hearing his story of dragging his unconscious girlfriend to the driver's seat of his wrecked car so HE could avoid drunk driving charges, but he really is among the lowest of the low. It's clear to me that no amount of rehab will turn him into a decent human being. He's a creep high or sober.

Yeah, Ricco is just...not a very nice guy.
I also get the impression that he has some issues with women, and it is playing a big part of why he acts the way he does with Shelley, etc.

I thought Mary's ballet segment was very touching. I'm really rooting for her.

This show is totally hardcore. I was shocked speechless after the first ep. Mainly because of the Conway. He is Intervention x 100.
I guess I'm just naive, I still get so surprised when people e.g. Daniel Baldwin, turn out to be such slimeballs. I hope his wife puts him out. No reason for him to jeopardize others' sobriety so he can get his rocks off. Ass.
