Me too. While Gus is a fabulous criminal and Jesse is heartbreaking, Mike and Saul are just awesome.

So, did I understand that Gus and the guy who was shot in the flashback episode were lovers? Or did I just read way too much into that? That was hard to watch.
I love this show Aaron Paul deserves so much more attention that he's getting. Bryan Cranston is wonderful but Aaron has totally blown me away a few times.

I have seen speculation elsewhere that they were lovers. That one gangster did make a comment when he was peeing in the pool that they wouldn't mind seeing his package. I don't know if that was just him being a jerk though. I personally didn't see them as lovers, they seemed to have a more brotherly like relationship. The name of their restaurant too was Pollos Hermanos and Hermanos means brothers. I suppose lovers could call each other brother affectionately, but no that would be weird. Also Gus had mentioned in the past that he had kids. Mind you a gay guy could certainly have children. So I don't know. If they went either way with Gus being gay it wouldn't surprise me.

Personally I did believe that they were lovers, but I think they were purposefully vague and I think you could make a valid argument on either side.

I might be totally dense but it never occurred to me for even a moment that Gus and Max were lovers. Regardless, every time I think this show can't get any better, it does. This has got to be the best acting ensemble of any current show.

There was an article on AfterElton.com discussing Gus Fring's relationship with his partner, including some info from the show's podcast. According to one of the many tv podcasts I listen to, Jesse was supposed to die in the first season, but was kept on because of issues surrounding the writer's strike. To which I say: Yay! I can't wait to see what this actor does next.

I've read about Jesse's near miss on early death, (by...Tuco?) but didn't know the strike was the thing that saved him. Can you imagine this series without the Walt/Jesse dynamic? It would be like an entirely different show.

As Sunday's episode so poignantly illustrated. I was practically fist pumping when Jesse told Walter to gtfo.
Wouldn't it be funny if Sky was the one to actually make the whole tower come tumbling down with her book cooking shenanigans? I hope Walter gets a chance to find out that he's not the first guy she's committed felonies for.

I watched the ending twice just to see Jesse tell Walter to GTFO! Walter is an ass. Compelling to watch but he's so tightly wound in every single scene I'm finding it very difficult to sympathize. Now it seems that Gus may be becoming the sympathetic bad guy. Man, this is a great fucking show.

They wouldn't kill off both Mike and Gus would they? I love how every season starts off as a slow burn and then ratchets up the tension by the end. Only 3 episodes left.
I've never been on the Skyler hate train before but man was she stupid both in giving money to Ted and then telling him she gave him the money. Both her and Walt really need to listen to Saul more.
I am pretty sure Bryan Cranston just sealed another Emmy win next year with his speech to Walt Jr.
