I got the new Rob Thomas CD for mother's day and I just love it. I haven't taken it off my cd player since I got it.

I've got The Moldy Peaches blasting from my car for the past couple of days. Singing along to "Who's got the Crack" is the only thing that keeps me sane in traffic.

I just bought Ben Harper's CD that he's done with the Blind Boys of Alabama, and it is pure gold. I'm in love.

I know it's not out yet, but i've been listening to Coldplay's new album "X&Y" all morning on mtv.com (the Leak).......and I freakin' LOVE IT!!! I've always liked Coldplay, but thought they were being given a little too much love by the critics. Now I see what the big deal is. This is a really good album.

I just got an iPod and am loading it up right now listening to some excellant songs. Right now: Big Sugar, following Oasis, Sublime, and The Trews.
I am so in love with the music right now. (the several drinks I've had while waiting for it to upload may be helping a bit)

I wholeheartedly recommend Hot Hot Heat's newest effort, Elevator, to anyone who'll listen! I think it's sheer brilliance, and most of the songs are so much fun to bop along to!

I'm really enjoying the Foo Fighters' new CD right now. It's a two-disc set, one CD of rock and the other of acoustic...very good stuff, too.

Not sure if I should just edit my last post, but it's a month and a half later, so I don't think I have to. Right now I am obsessed with Hot Hot Heat's Elevator as well...every song is great, and incredibly catchy. Not to mention that I just saw them in concert, and they were every bit as good live. I also am enjoying Bloc Party's Silent Alarm - it takes a few listens to get into, but it is something different for me and I am enjoying it. And my newest purchase, though not music, has been on repeat on my iTunes - Dane Cook's new 2-disc CD, Retaliation. He is hilarious, and I laugh out loud at a lot of the material, but I don't know if this album has quite the longevity or quotability of Harmful if Swallowed. But I will probably be proven wrong when every person at my college is speaking in Dane quotes a few months from now...
