I've been on a Rum Runner music kick for about six months, and it hasn't let up. On particular heavy rotation has beenThe Devils. I shiver at the thought of what might've been if World Exclusive, Lost Decade and Come Alive had made it into the official Duran oeuvre. I can listen to World Exclusive twenty times in a row. It's the "sha la la la woo hoo" that makes it art.

I'm obsessively listening to Age Pryor these days. An incredibly talented musician with a lovely voice. Hints of Nick Drake, but with more edge and funk. Fantastic!

A friend introduced me to her too and I loved the cd so much I had to go get my own copy. My favorite tracks are "Headlock" and "Clear the Area".

I totally have a jones for "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" by the Arctic Monkeys, the latest "next big thing" band out of the U.K.

I can't get "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" out of my head nor my iPod.

By the way, they've become so hyped, they'll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 11.
