Amy Winehouse's Rehab is all kinds of awesome. I can't stand Amy but the song's great. Oh, and I love Paolo Nutini's Jenny Don't Be Hasty, it's really catchy. I like his live versions of the song better than the one featured in the video.

I have a feeling we'll be hearing the song "America" by Razorlight in this country pretty soon.
It's very appropriate for these times.

Razorlight are horrible. Why is that the sort of British import we get? Give us Girls Aloud! That's what this country needs!

Yeah, I don't like Raszorlight either. "America" sucks IMHO. I do like Snow Patrol though (as overused as they were on Grey's Anatomy). I know that Scissor Sisters aren't British but can I just say that I love that they're so so popular in the UK (well, all over Europe right now I'd say)? I haven't mentioned Will Young in a while. Ahem. He'll be doing a play in Manchester next year. I'm glad he's taking a little break from music.
Oh, and I love Keane's Bad Dream.

I sincerely hope you're joking! The Pussycat Dolls are disgusting and can't carry a tune. Girls Aloud are talented and have amazing pop songs. I'd go so far as to say they're the most important girl pop group of the past couple decades, they're amazing. The Pussycat Dolls are on the same level of musical/entertainment ability as Paris Hilton. Not to mention that they all look like men in drag.

There's no way Girls Aloud are going to break into the U.S. market. I know the Pussycat Dolls are eye candy and not good singers; however, sex sells in this country and in this market Girls Aloud would have to do something extraordinary to break through. Otherwise, enjoy listening to Danity Kane, the Pussycat Dolls, the Cheetah Girls, and Cherish for your girl groups if you can.

I love the UK charts. Only place where the cheesiest boyband ever manages to beat Oasis, Beatles and U2 to get a number 1 in the album charts! LOL! I used to love Westlife back when they were actually fun listening to but now they make my ears bleed. How can four young men sing The Rose with straight faces and then release an album with covers of love songs?? By the way, I was listening to the charts on Radio 1 via their live stream and they did not play a song from Westlife's album when they announced the top albums. I understand what they're doing but it made them look like snobs.

Oooh, I love me some Girls Aloud! I know a lot of their stuff might not translate to the US market, but I for one think they have some songs that they could release and do well with here. They would definitely need to get better production on their videos, though. Anyway I am super proud of the Girls for their GH doing so well in the charts! Man, I hate Westlife! The only reason they chart so high is because they have a horde of scary, rabid fans buying up everything they release a million times over. Pathetic.

I have to thank this board to thank for introducing me to Amy Winehouse too.
I also have to confess my love for 5ive. Especially 'When the Lights Go Out'. I love that song. Love, I tell you. **Slinks away in shame**
