They certainly owned that day. It's widely regarded as the best rock performance ever, and I can't argue with that. Best front man ever, and that voice...
I was in Australia 26 years ago when I heard the news and it just shattered me. One year ago today, I lost my dad. It's a rough day all around but I'm grateful that both wonderful men existed in my lifetime.

News of Sarah Harding sad passing has me listening to Girls Aloud. Sleep Well Sarah. They really had some cracking pop songs( I wouldn’t have been the target audience but I’d watched an Irish version of Popstars that infamously starred Nadine Coyle and a lie about her age that lost her a place in that band so when I saw her pop up in U.K. Popstars The Rivals I was intrigued) Sound of the Underground was a brilliant first single and had me hooked. Something kinda Oooh The Loving KindThe PromiseETA Wear it like a Crown Sarah Harding solo record. |

I really feel like Supergrass got lost in the Britpop explosion of the 1990s. ”Pumping on Your Stereo” is an absolute bop, with a music video directed by the same team that did Blur’s “Coffee and TV”! |

I’ve just put Pumping on your Stereo on full blast to have a my mad Christmas morning bop about on my own to before I head off to my Christmas Day people! A moment for me! I do it every year random tune, bounce about cos no is watching. So cheers for this years one  |
