I love Toxic. It is one of only two Britbot songs that I like, the other being I'm A Slave For You.
Back to what I came for. I hate Alicia Keys. All of her songs sound the same (minus a few), all of videos have the same look/feel. She always plays the piano in her videos, and I have never been that impressed with her skills as a pianist. I get the fact that she writes her own music/lyrics, but is that really that big of an accomplishment if all of your songs sound the same. (And I think most of them suck)
I love the Bee Gees. If loving the Bee Gees is wrong, I don't want to be right. I picked up their number one CD from WalMart (don't shoot me) and love it, love it, love it. Great songs there: How Deep is Your Love, Staying Alive, Emotions (100 million times better than the shitty remake that Destinys Child made). Just some brilliant songwriting, and I love their singing.

I like 2 Britney songs, one being Toxic and the other being Hit Me Baby One More Time. I'm not proud. In fact, I have a playlist on my iPod called Blush for songs that I'm ashamed I like, and these two are on it.
I think Toxic is a fabulous pop song (I wouldn't call it perfect -- that's Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel for me), but I would like it a whole lot better if somebody other than Britney had sung it.

My most embarrasing Unpopular opinion used to be that I liked Billy Bob Thornton's version of "Ring of Fire" better than Johnny Cash's. I'm revising that for the record to say that I now prefer Joaquin Phoenix's version to all of them. It's that damned mariachi crap. I'd heard that was June's idea and if so, was definitely a rare Yoko moment. If only someone other than Britney had sung it...

I could never understand why the hair bands made themselves up to look like female porn stars while maintaining an agressively macho image. I mean, they grew out of glam, no doubt, but the glam stars at least some concessions to bisexuality.
It's been very interesting to see what all those hair metal rockers look like today.

I'll still listen to Johnny Cash's CDs, but after seeing Walk the Line I do prefer Joaquin's.

I just find that Toxic has that annoying, fingernails-on-chalkboard keyboard sound that ruins it. Plus, there are no real hooks.

Can't stand the Dixie Chicks. I'm fine with their anti-Bush politics, but I have always hated their music. Natalie Maines's voice grates on my nerves like nobody's business. She's got this nasally goat-bleating thing going on. Some might call it a quirky voice. I call it hideous.

I'm a Jersey Girl who doesn't worship at the altar of Springsteen.
Don't get me wrong I kinda like some of his songs (three to be exact) but I'm not enamored by him.
I'm sure I'm not the only Jerseyite who thinks this way.

Fear not Nedsdag, you aren't alone. I too am a Jersey girl who isn't a Bruce fan, and I also happen to only like three of his songs: Rosalita, Thunder Road, and Born to Run. Other than that? Meh.
I hate Greenday. Haaaaaate them. The music sucks ass, and Billie Joe Armstrong has one of the most soulless voices I've ever heard. Also, I hate the fact that this crap is considered "edgy". Bleh.
I like The Rolling Stones better than The Beatles.
Really unpopular opnion here: Layla is one of the most overrated songs in history. There, I said it, and I feel so much better.

So much word. I hated them since they first came out. They acted like Manic Panic hair color made them punk. Puh-leeze. Count me in as someone else who likes the Stones better than the Beatles. Also. I'm tired of Zeppelin, U2's overrated, and I'm sick of Bob Marley. I like just about any reggae song as long as it isn't Marley (maybe it's the overplay that did it).
