chonies, I did another search yesterday because I had heard some other nifty songs (but had the Shazam app this time, muah haha) so I was determined to try again. This time I did a playlist search for all No. CA public radio stations for that date- and there it popped up on a station I had not previously searched! Yay, internet and public radio! lena, I'm glad you like it! I really like it too. I shall download this week after I get my first big-girl paycheck from the community college. I did a bit of reading about the duo, and they sound interesting. Mystery solved!

I heard a song on in-store play recently and my Shazam app wasn't working It had a faux-Irish sound with maybe pipes and fiddles with multiple vocalists, perhaps a mix of male and female in a kind of duet, and part of the lyrics were something like, "go, go, go" and then "no, no, no." Super vague, I know. It's not Gucci Mane, Amy Winehouse, or Let it Go from Frozen, or Go Go Go by The 88.

The links aren't working, but is it one of the songs from Of Monsters and Men? Maybe the "King and Lionheart" song?

I have almost no information on this song, so it's unlikely that anyone will know, but I've heard this song 2 or 3 times on the radio and Google is not helping me identify it. I can't remember any of the lyrics except something like "at 17...so let's go, so let's go..." And even that might be wrong, since Google is giving me zero clues. It appears to be a new song and I'm not even sure I actually like it or am just colossally bugged by my inability to figure out what it is and who sings it. Soooo...anybody familiar with a newish song with the word 17 in it?

It's definitely Fleetwood Mac, and Stevie Nicks definitely sings it. She performed it in a scene from American Horror Story about 2 seasons ago. It's a piano ballad, and the song title is a question, something like "Does Anybody Know What Time It Is?" ... but not that.
It was really pretty, not one of their big hits, but a fan favorite.
Thank you!

Thank you! I think it was "Has Anyone Ever Written A Song For You" (something like that...) eta - If it's the song I'm thinking of, it is called "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You"

Thank you! This link shows all FM songs used in American Horror story. They've used several FM songs. I love this site, Tunefind, because you can search by artist or tv show/movie to find out what the song was. I finally bookmarked the site because I found it so useful for shows that have a lot of music over several seasons.

That is a good link! Never seen that one before! It has "Rhiannon" listed in the scene. The scene I'm remembering was from the Coven season of American Horror Story, and Stevie Nicks does perform one of their big hit songs with a piano, as some other characters look on, but there was another song performed in that scene, too. Somehow, the song by the Motels Some Things Never Change, and specifically it's piano melody, reminded me of it, and not it's semi-stuck in my head. . . . . . EDIT: A HA!!! It's not a Fleetwood Mac song, it's a Stevie Nicks solo song! And mrspickles was right on the money: Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?THANK YOU!!!!
