KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles has started. They started last Thursday at 3pm. And of course, I've been listening. My one complaint so r, I've heard Taylor Swift's version of "Last Christmas" more than Wham's version. I need to start a letter writing campaign to KOST so that they institute a rule that they only play Wham's version just to make me happy. And also, while they're at it, they need to play more NKOTB Christmas song because "Funky Christmas" is a staple in my home.

I made it until today before hearing a Wonderful Christmastime. I don't even know if it counts because it was a remix with some bass and beats added in.
I think I will splurge this year and buy Los Straightjackets' album.

I realize I am about 15 years late on this but I just discovered Low's Christmas album. I especially like Just Like Christmas.

I'm listening to Johnny Mathis sing O Holy Night on Youtube. Repeatedly. I should get a cd of his Christmas songs.

My mom has all the vinyl Johnny Mathis. Those records were the one thing she took from my uncle, her brother's record collection when he died.
She was very disappointed to hear that Johnny is openly Republican these days.

My repetitive YouTube song this year is the Pogues' "Fairytale of New York". A close second is the Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping."
