I guess the newest video i've seen in the last few days was "Who Knew" by Pink, and personally I think it sucks. When I heard this song on the album, I never envisoned that the video for it would take place in a dirty carnival with a guy shooting up heroin at the end. I really liked the video. I wouldn't have envisioned it with the song, but it added to it for me because of personal experience. I've gone back a few pages and not seen anything about Danity Kane, P Diddy's (or whatever the heck he's calling himself now) girl band's debut video. I watched Making the Band and I like them, but that video and song is so lame. WTF's up with a cruising debut song? The hook is catchy but so lame and disturbing all of their dance moves, moves are so overtly sexual.

So I just watched the "When We Were Young" video and....I'm really confused. Now, I don't claim to watch much music television these days (beyond the ocassional episode of M2's Subterranean), but can someone tell me what the plot of that vid was? I feel like I'm missing something here.
For my book, no one will top Anton Corbijn for music video directorial greatness. Chris Cunningham comes close, but Anton is king of the innovative/evocative music video!

I'm curious, starskin. The only Anton Corbijn music video I've seen (that I know of) is his version of "One," which admittedly is an awesome music video. What else has he done?

Anton Corbijn has done the vast majority of Depeche Mode's videos (including "Personal Jesus", "Never Let Me Down Again" and..well, a lot of them). He's most famous for Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "My Friends". He also did a lot of work with U2. Plus, I think he's photographed nearly every prominent band of the last two decades. He's amazingly prolific, and I love his style. Here's his wiki page[/color] with a complete list of his videos.

Oh! Well then! I guess I HAVE seen more than just "One." I do like a lot of those videos.

It's White and Nerdy, and it is freaking hilarious. My favorite part is Donny Osmond's "dancing" in the background.
