That white shimmer in the inner corners of the eye should be more subtle, but seeing as this is the 2nd or 3rd time she’s had it it’s clearly a look she’s into.

So she is suing Disney for streaming Black Widow and causing her to lose 50 million in salary. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt sued Paramount for the same thing over A Quiet Place 2 before it even came out. They signed deals that gave them a share of the theater ticket sales. Sending the movie to streaming platforms right away was a change of plans that resulted in them being paid much less. A lawsuit is the only mechanism by which the dispute can be resolved.

Warner Bros paid out Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins to compensate for the loss of a box office cut when they decided to release Wonder Woman on streaming. So there is precedent here. I guess it shouldn't surprise me that despite her long history with Marvel that Disney are trying to be cheap here. I am no ScarJo fan but do I think they'd pull this shit on RDJ, Chris Evans or Chris Hemsworth? No. So I hope she gets every cent she's entitled to. Disney trying to use the pandemic to shame her when they didn't give two shits about their own employees welfare is hypocrisy at it's finest.

It was extremely Just Fine and Perfectly Entertaining. The real magic is the reconstruction of David Harbour's hairline in the flashbacks/prologue.

That is a lot of money to lose. I never even thought how streaming would affect an actor’s take home pay. I know that Dune producers are fighting to keep that movie from being streamed.

Yeah, I never really thought about it until Netflix paid so much for the sequels to Knives Out because they have to pay the backend that Daniel Craig and others would have made upfront.

Yeah. I'm not a huge Scarlett Johansson fan, but I think she's 100% right to sue here. They're saying Black Widow cost about $200 million to produce, and that it will need to gross at least $400 million to break even, considering the delays and the cost of promotion. Right now, the film has been out for three weeks and has grossed about $319 million worldwide. The film will probably break even - but if SJ was banking on getting a share of the profits, then that's got to sting.
