My Eagles are going to depress me again this week, aren't they (or, rather, I guess I should say "McNabb's gonna piss me off again, isn't he?")? I'm not one for superstition, but man, I want them to put on those ugly throwback uniforms again. And Lemur Guy's a Redskins fan, so this is all around a fairly heartbreaking house to root in.
On the plus side, we come together in our vicious, virulent hatred of the Cowboys and Patriots, so that's always nice and bonding for us.

Dammit Skins, if we come within 20 seconds of winning and the Cardnals take it, I'll be pissed. I won't be surprised, but I'll be pissed.
We only won because, well the Cards missed a field goal, and then the clock ran out. But dammit, that was an ugly last quarter to what had, up until then, been a beautiful game. But this game is the perfect example to my point. The Skins could, and should be one of the best teams in the league--but after gorgeous first halves they lose something. Guys? Come on here. You're killing me!

YAY Skins won!!!!!! The offense looked like crap and special teams (and luck) is the only reason we won but YAY. This will have to tide me over for two weeks because we will most surely lose to the Patriots.  ETA: Oh, how I loathe Dallas. Loathe them. SO very cocky. At least the Skins aren't cocky. We're more shocked than anything else when we win. |

Well. Nearly halftime, and the Broncos are leading 21-7. How embarrassing.
But there were some bad calls; for one, Hines Ward did not lose control of the ball.

Does anyone know exactly how many minutes the Skins' offense even played yesterday!? I have such disgust for Al Saunders and Jason Campbell. Is there a way to practice 2nd halves specifically?
